Lyn and Peter were amazing hosts for our family of 4 (two adults plus two kids, ages 9&6.) Lyn greeted us at check-in, but gave us privacy after that, and was super quick to respond to texts on the rare occasion we had a question. The boathouse was as described with even more amenities than listed and more spacious and beautiful than the pictures could do justice. The place is immaculate with careful thought and detail into every little decoration and little touches (e.g. a basket in the bedroom with bug spray, package toothbrush, etc. for any forgotten items.) We felt completely at home in the boathouse and enjoyed the beautiful views from the upstairs deck and dock, where we spent the majority of our time. We all loved taking out the SUPs that were there for our use and it was a quick drive into town to visit Don’s Bakery (IYKYK), Splash Island, and the ski show on Tuesday night. Highly recommend the boathouse for your next Muskoka stay! Lyn’s hospitality is 10/10.

Licinia is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The cabin was as described. The deck overlooking the river is relaxing and a great place to chill out. The location is quite close to the Wasaga triathlon so a good spot for participants.

Licinia’s place was amazing. Located super close to the beach, clean, peaceful with a water view and fireplace. She is also very friendly and gave us some recommendations and tips to make the best out of our stay. We will come back!

Licinia was the perfect hostess. She was pleasant and friendly, making sure our needs were met. At the same time, she gave us our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed eating the picnic lunch that we brought, sitting on the dock alongside the Nottawasaga River. - entertained by the geese and the ducks, as well as the various watercraft. The beach was just a short walk across the street in the opposite direction of the river. Although it was too windy to swim, the crashing of the waves was a wonderful sound to hear. The cabin was cute and cozy - all the space that we needed. We enjoyed using the gas bbq on site for dinner - there was even an outdoor cook sink and prep area. Our evening was topped off with a bonfire afterwards. We don’t live far from the Town of Wasaga Beach, but we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway and will most definitely return. We look forward to seeing Licinia and her lovely family again.

Windfall Cottage is a unique experience. The cottage is very cozy and tastefully decorated and we felt very comfortable and welcome. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen perfectly equipped and it is like coming home. The access to the lake and the sun deck with two kayaks are another highlight. Carol and Jonathan are wonderful hosts! The contact was consistently very fast, very friendly and above all very personal. Our inquiry as to whether the cottage was suitable for a wheelchair user was not only answered comprehensively and with further information, but the necessary aids were also provided. Such courteous support is unique and impressive. Windfall Cottage, Carol and Jonathan will remain in our best memories and we can only warmly recommend this Airbnb. I had a wonderful stay at the boat house while visiting Barrie for a wedding. The location on the water was absolutely lovely! Bruce was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions and great suggestions that made settling in a breeze. Coming from Australia, I’m used to pristine beaches, so we chose not to swim in the lake as it didn’t seem very clean. However, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the water. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage had everything we required. The location was perfect for what we wanted. Yousef and Dirk (the complex’s manager) were very kind and easy going and they answered any questions we had. We would love to come back in the summer time.

Janet and Aaron are terrific hosts—super friendly and attentive. They checked in regularly to ensure our stay was comfortable and assured us they’d be happy to help with anything we needed. The cottage sits right by the lake, and the property is clean, quiet, and very well maintained. This was easily one of our best Airbnb experiences Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great during our visit; otherwise, it would’ve been perfect to sit by the lake and soak in the view. Regardless, we had a wonderful time and can’t recommend their place enough. If you’re visiting the area, don’t hesitate—you’ll love it as much as we did.

This is our second trip to Orillia, we expected a great trip but this was even better… We asked friends to come with us to try it out and the whole trip home we were talking about when we were coming back. Truly going to book at least 4x a year, so expect us in February… Jacqui and Luch are awesome👍

Cathrine was extremely accommodating and very helpful. Her house was beautiful and was stocked with everything you could ever need for a stay! Cathrine was always very responsive and there to help when needed. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Nice place great location Only drawback no outdoor space

You will not regret staying here! I spent 6 weeks here while waiting to move into my own place and I really didn't want to leave. place was spotless, inside and out; it's everything described and more! Alex and his wife are lovely people, he responds almost immediately, very accommodating, and helpful! will definitely be staying here again whenever I visit ontario! Thank you Alex for making me feel at home!

in terms of cleanliness and value for your money, her place is amazing. It's pretty fancy for the low price in the neighborhood is quiet. highly recommend

Erica was a fantastic and extremely thoughtful host. The studio apartment is beautifully designed, comfortable, cozy, and outfitted with anything we could need, from cooking utensils to toiletries. The wood burning stove was so lovely and made the place so cozy and warm. Erica kindly provided firewood and restocked us halfway through. Erica was very kind and flexible and really goes above and beyond for her guests. There were so many thoughtful touches like a list of local recommendations and a basket with tea and treats. The heated floors in the bathroom also felt so luxurious. The space is thoughtfully decorated and feels so peaceful. Would highly recommend!

Our extended family had a wonderful weekend get together and we want to thank Dirk and Linda for accommodating us! The kids especially loved the novelty of sleeping in the trailer while the adults enjoyed the campfire at night! The cottage is very homey and had everything you need. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time!
