I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

Bailey was a great host. She was responsive and helpful when we had issues. The house was nice, clean, and spacious.

This place is out of a dream. A perfect spot to unwind. Right on the lake. Has all the amenities. Nothing else I would change about this spot. This is my second visit and will definitely not be the last.

The home and property was so peaceful, relaxing and had everything we needed for our family reunion. Certain areas could use some maintenance or a deep clean but that is totally overshadowed with everything else the property has to offer. We’ve already booked for next year and are excited ti he coming back a second time.

Had a great time with the kids at Edwards place. Definitely off the beaten path, 20 min drive to property driving on gravel and then dirt/sand after the gate, was a little tight between the vegetation on the path with my truck but no damage done(couple minor scratches). You'll get used to the solar power and learn to conserve, make sure to charge during the day. Amazingly beautiful property, crazy quite. We didn't see much wildlife during our stay, mostly a wide variety of birds. we rented the small boat and made it to the sandbar on Hubbard lake, if your not too familiar with boats I would rent a boat in the surrounding lakes before trying to make it by river to Hubbard lake. River is GREAT for kayak, canoe or paddle board plus you won't scare off the wildlife with the sound of the engine. Overall, we had a great time in this secluded setting and spending quality time with the kids without wifi/internet.

Great secluded stay on a lake! Home was basic, but clean and comfortable. We spent almost all our time outside on the giant lawn and, of course, the lake. It is a little out of the way to find, but instructions provided were clear. Cell coverage is spotty with Verizon. Fishing was good. The nearby town has a pretty substantial grocery store, outdoor shop, and pretty much everything we needed during our stay. Host was very helpful and responsive the whole time! We will likely look at renting again next year.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming, rustic cabin that was the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. Nestled in a serene, wooded setting, the cabin felt like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabins interior was warm and inviting and the soft lighting and cozy furnishings made it an ideal place to relax, especially after a day spent outdoors. The stove was a highlight and many baked items were made. Helpful signage and detailed instructions made check in a breeze. Will recommend to friends / family.

This place was an incredible experience. My whole family loved it and felt super cool with an exclusive island to our selfs. The house was clean and my boys loved the outside. We stayed up late reuniting with family by the fire and the sunsets were incredible. I would tap in advance for the boat reservations to lock those in. It was so great we plan on going back once a year. The garage is also an arcade which was a pleasant surprise because it wasn’t in the original details. They have plenty of water toys and much more. If you are reading this it’s your sign to book. ✌️

Dorothea and her husband Glenn were fantastic hosts. They seemed just as excited as us to be there. Dorothea was very kind and outgoing, and very accommodating. Even checked in on us mid-way to make sure everything was to our liking. The location was just a few blocks away from Higgins lake, and house had a very neat theme and was immaculate. Our favorite part of the trip was seeing a family of deer every day and night! Thanks again. I would highly recommend!

Lots of fun to be had at Linda’s establishment. We enjoyed the fire pit and the WELL stocked wood to accommodate our camp fire😊

My wife and I were looking for a fall weekend getaway and this place worked beautifully. The home has a bit of an old school feel, which we really enjoy. The view from the HUGE picture window, overlooking the secluded lake surrounded by the stunning fall foliage was worth the price alone! There were two kayaks and a boat with electric motor, an outdoor firepit with a wagonload of free wood (you can't use the indoor wood burning stove though) and plenty of comfortable beds. Leslie was extremely responsive and friendly too as we chatted on the phone a couple of times during our stay. The place is well stocked with everything needed and is very neat, tidy, and clean. Two eating areas with our fav; a large table overlooking the water! On this October weekend, the lake was pretty much devoid of people (but included geese, ducks, and various birds). A couple of great homestyle restaurants within two minutes (one closes at 2pm!) were right up our alley and Gaylord is 12 minutes away! LOVED!!

Beautiful place, so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was incredibly clean and welcoming. There are several restaurants close by. If you are looking for a quiet place to rest and unwind, I would highly recommend staying here.

Kim’s cabin was perfect and just what we needed for a weekend up north to end the summer. Kids loved the beach and the board games. Sand lake is gorgeous and although the sand is a bit mucky, it’s still probably the best in-land lake I’ve set foot in in Michigan! Nice and shallow for what seemed like 100ft out from shore! Perfect for my 6 and 10 yr old kids. They used the paddle board and we used the kayaks and metal boat. They loved the slide into the lake and even though it was the last weekend of the year and time to take it out of the water, the owners were gracious enough to let our kids use it for most of the day Saturday. Tawas was only a 15 minute drive! Perfect location and great, quiet safe community. We will definitely be back if Kim and Dutch will have us! Thank you so much again!!! Oh the cabin was great as well and has everything you would need! Fire pit and all the tools for smores!

Melissa did a nice job and everything was as presented. She provides good communication and instructions were right on. We were golfing at Forest Dunes so the location was perfect. Local restaurants and pizzeria nearby as well as a nice grill for steaks. The place suited our needs perfectly.

Patricia was a wonderful host. Her home and Little Wolf Lake was more than perfect!! We enjoyed our week there soooo much. And what a great little town. She thought of everything inside and outside the home too. It is beautiful and quite frankly the nicest VRBO we've ever stayed in. A little slice of heaven very peaceful and relaxing there!! We floated in rafts on the water and paddle boated all over the lake. photographed a piliated woodpecker, blue heron, loons and captured a beautiful rainbow over the lake the last night... so stunning!! We will book again. Thanks for the wonderful vacation!!

Michelle couldn't possibly be a better host. She describes her place very well, she communicates before and during your visit. Our stay was amazing. The best parts were the private beach and the mooring to tie up a boat over night. It worked perfectly for us.

Had a great long weekend with friends at Elizabeth’s Airbnb. Cozy home. Very clean and comfortable. Nice open floor plan so that you can share time with friends and family. We were a group of nine and felt like we had plenty of space. Nice table for a group meals. Well equipped kitchen. Beyond the hosts control there was a lot of snow this weekend and roads were not plowed. One of our three cars had trouble getting up the hill to their Airbnb.

Cozy Cabin was exactly that, including its great location. It fit our winter needs for our mini vacation perfectly with all that snow!! Lauri was pleasant to talk with as well!
