GODA. Island Hideaway on Svartsö

Fish and bathe in the lake, heat up in the sauna, do yoga and long table dinners in the orangery and sleep under the stars in the cabin. Named GODA ('good'), this is a wonderful place to get back to nature. GODA is a twist on “good” (gott in Swedish/god in Danish); an island hide-out for curious young souls like yourself demanding goodness for nature, self and others. We build GODA in 2016-2018 and she continues to grow and evolve as you will see if you visit her. GODA comfortably hosts 7 people in beds (plus 2 kids beds and 2 baby beds) in the main house and 6 people in Mini GODA. Our latest newcomer with own kitchen, bathroom and space. So a total of 13 adults and 4 kids can enjoy the space collectively, then using madrases on the floor, in the Orangerie or on the benches in the relax room in the sauna to accommodate additional people. The rent is primarily for the main cabin and if a larger group than 7, also for Mini GODA. If you want to access the sauna, orangeri and hot tub, please let us know in advance and we can arrange that, however, the hot tub should be used for stays longer than 4 nights and depends the water level in the lake. The sauna might be rented out by the island hotel during your stay, unless you specifically would like the privacy. In that case, please let us know. The only immediate neighbors are the fascinating fauna that can be discovered all around. There's easy access from the mainland, with boats running all year long. The best access point is on the north side of the island. There are only about 10 cars on the island, all with special permission, so please park your car on one of the main island access points, e.g. Vaxholm (for best access to the house via the north side), Åsättra (Ljusterö) brygga or Boda. You can rent bikes to get around from the grocery store or the hotel (the hotel is only 300m walk from the ground) Easy access from the main land with boats running all year around. The best access is on the North side of the island. To check out times go to https://waxholmsbolaget.se/ The hot tub can be used for longer stays than 4 nights and is subject to water supply as it can be very scare on the island during the summer. Cykelbanor och närhet till friluftsområden. 1,3 km till busshållplats som tar dig till centrala Åkersberga (15min), här tar du dig vidare in till Stockholm City med Roslagspendeln (30 min).

På fastigheten finns ett hus till som också uthyres på airbnb. Brygga och bastuhus delas med ägare eller annan hyresgäst

Public ferry year-round from and to Stockholm City and only a short walk to the house from the pier. The house is located on the island Lådna, on a private hill with a scenic view. Swimming pool and a large terrace with sun all day and evening. Modern standard with water toilets, well-equipped kitchen, central heating system, and fireplace. Local store on the island.

Gästhus: vatten/avlopp, micro, kyl/frys, 1 dubbelsäng spjälsäng. Studsmatta, linbana, koja, hängmatta, racketspel, 8-10 cyklar på tomten & suverän sandstrand mm i närheten. Swimspa på 2x4 meter inbyggd jetstream för simträning (stängd vintertid). Båt ingår.

Välkommen till vårt gästhus med tillgång till brygga i bästa solläge! Här kan ni slappna av i lugn miljö och titta på båtarna som glider förbi eller ta tåget in till Stockholm och njuta av dess utbud av restauranter och nöjen. Tågstationen ligger på ca 10-15 min gångavstånd. Det tar 35 min med tåg in till Stockholm. Med bil tar det ca 30-35 min. Fri parkering. Fullt utrustat kök och badrum med kombinerad tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Dubbelsäng i sovrum. Bäddsoffa för två i vardagsrum.

Edö Hill

Rent a house on the archipelago idyll of Edö. The house is located approx. 100m from the water and has a glimpse of the sea from the super cozy balcony at the front. The balcony at the back, where you BBQ and eat dinner, faces the forest and has sun until late em. The house is close to private cliffs and small beaches. Here you can pick apples, mushrooms & berries or go for a walk in an enchanted forest. Or why not take the Vaxholmsboat to Svartsö or Finnhamn for lunch or ice cream.
