We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!

This was our second time staying at Paul’s cottage and it was a perfect location for a March break with our kiddo and friends. From building snowmen outside, to spending time in the hot tub, to swimming in the indoor pool, there was no time for boredom! The huge dining table was ideal for doing puzzles, diamond dots, bracelet making, etc while still having lots of space to dine. The comfy reclining chairs in the living-room were the perfect spot to relax after active days. The kitchen had everything we needed to store, prep and serve our meals in style Paul is a fantastic host. Quick to check in and respond and so kind. We’re looking forward to booking the cottage again soon.

This is a great place for a peaceful getaway. Not too close to anything, if you want to go out for a bite to eat but you’ll have everything you need to stay in and cook a great meal in the comfort of this beautiful cottage! Beautiful views and comfortable decor!

Second time renting this cottage with a group of 10 women who've known each other for 50 years!! The cottage was a perfect fit for all of us. Location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the river. Perfect walking distance (under 5K) to Quyon and Gavans Hotel for a quart!! Cottage is clean, modern. Having two fire pits offers options to gather - as well as many outdoor area's to gather, back deck, front deck, by the water. Scott is available for any questions - answering right away!! We loved it so much, that we've already booked for our 2026 weekend. Can't say enough good things about the cottage - it was perfect for our gathering - knowing that there are great memories there to last a lifetime. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a relaxing, secluded, private spot to make your own memories.

J’ai adoré cet endroit pour la localisation sur le bord de la plage. L’endroit nous a permis de faire un grand feu à l’extérieur, ce que j’adore. je le recommande à tous. J’ai vécu une très belle fin de semaine. Je suis allée pour la plage et le feu extérieur et je n’ai pas été déçu. C’est un coin très tranquille et mon amie a pu apporter son chien. Ce qu’elle a appréciée énormément. L’endroit était propre. Merci à vous pour cette opportunité.

Hello Vick! What an awesome space you got there. The multiple bathrooms and pullout sofa beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen very spacious. The dinning room large to contain everyone. (Loved that there was a crib available). Thank you for hosting us!!!

COTTAGE LIFE! so peaceful and quiet! What you see is what you get. Response time is amazing. The guys are very helpful. We were able to check in earlier, which was very helpful. The 1st room (the one we stayed in) is spacious. the closet space is great! The 2nd room is just as spacious but no closet space. The 3rd room has a double bed and a bunk bed. <-great for kids as it has its own half bath. They had recently gotten an AC, which was amazing! thankful for that. The couch in the living room is a pull out bed as well! Cottage life also has unwanted visitors of ants, but it is manageable. All in all, lovely cottage!

We had an amazing weekend and the cottage was beautiful. Cozy and warm and the view of the lake was amazing. Spencer was so helpful and kind. Thank you so much for such a welcoming and wonderful weekend.

Henry was responsive when we reached out to him. Everything you need was provided for. The yard is large and our dogs enjoyed their stay as well! :) The private upstairs rooms were appreciated by our teenager. I would come here again.

Beautiful spot on the river! Really enjoyed the screened room overlooking the river.

We had a great 5 night stay! This was our second time staying at this cottage. We returned this summer after having a great time last summer. The weather didn’t quite pull through for us this time (it was rainy, windy and cold) but that didn’t stop us from swimming each day and enjoying the fireplaces indoors with books and puzzles.

We had a great time at Brenda’s space on the lake. Being able to look out over the lake was a great way to wake up. Brenda was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Jonathan was so welcoming. We spoke on phone before hand which was helpful. I was moving to Ottawa with my wife and kids and this place was a great base away from the noise of the city whilst we got set up. Private local beach was a highlight

beautiful inside and out. great kitchen with room for many cooks. really enjoyed the multiple patios. coffee at sunrise on the upper deck. hangout in the shade while someone else bbqs. roast marshmallows at the fire pit at sunset. great to have a bathroom for each room. enough lawn to Frisbee.

Meghan's place was exceptionally well appointed. One could tell she was anticipating the needs of her guests. It was easy to prepare a meal in the lovely kitchen. The sauna added to a relaxing weekend. Thank you Meghan!

Pictures and words do not give this beachfront property any justice! Looking out the windows and seeing the beautiful waterfront and having a bonfire on the Sandy beach was truly a dream. We went sup boarding, kayaking and enjoyed the water for the majority of our stay. There’s a cute little bar in town within walking distance. Even though you are closer to other houses you still have your privacy. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. I can’t wait to return and recommend this cute beach front accommodation!

Spotlessly clean and fully set up and stocked with anything you could want. It's a beautiful location. I was there in late November, but could bundle up and watch the beautiful sunsets. It's a very comfortable, peaceful cottage that felt like a home away from home. It is the cleanest AirBnb I have ever stayed in. Patricia and Steve were great to communicate with. They were warm and welcoming with clear instructions and helpful suggestions. It's a quick and easy drive into Ottawa. I highly recommend this lovely spot.
