This is the second year we’ve stayed at the house in the winter and it was just as fantastic as we remembered it. It’s seriously one of the most boujee and beautiful beach houses. You feel right at home, everything’s clean, and you have every kitchen appliance you’d ever need. The hot tub is especially nice - it’s so dark at night in Duck you can see every star while you lay in the warm water. Several times we talked from the house into Duck which was easy, and it’s right across the street to visit the actual beach. Internet speeds are 25mbps for the remote workers. While we were there the new fiber company was laying conduit, so hopefully they’ll get an upgrade soon. Not a single complaint I could make. The hosts are fantastic. Answer every phone call. They stopped by with a gift for being ok with a single construction bag in the driveway for the pool. They’re awesome, it looked perfectly fine but they went out of their way anyway. Book it!

Our family and pets loved staying here. The home was beautiful and the fenced in yard made it so convenient with kids and dogs. and the husband could just fish right off the pier. The host even let us check in early. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this home very nice neighborhood, nice clean home, places to visit were close by. Definitely will be booking again for next summer☺️ highly recommend staying here.

I love USLSS history, the description had me. This home is very clean, beautifully built. It's so quiet and peaceful. The appliances were immaculate. Everything about this home welcomed you. We even had the local deer visit! It was my first time seeing them up close. They had books to read that made you appreciate the home style and the area. The beds are comfortable, as well as the house furniture. Rockers on the porch to relax after a day on the beach, picnic table and grill for outside dining. We truly enjoyed this property and our hosts. Thank you, again, for having us! I would stay here again, 100%.

Ariana’s home was a perfect getaway! Our dog, Bud E, absolutely loved the back yard and how quiet the neighbourhood was. Enough space to get all his puppy zoomies out after a long car ride. The home offered a lot of activities to do in the house and around it. The jacuzzi was the perfect way to end the night after a short walk from the beach. Definitely would recommend to anyone going to the OBX that is bringing their dog.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. The kitchen was my favorite part. It was so well stocked with quality equipment! The air conditioning was wonderful in both units. The two houses in one make it perfect for family that need a get away from the crowd from time to time. I can’t say enough good things about this house. The walk to the beach was super easy even with a 2 year old and 2 three year olds. Such a good place to play games with your loved ones, cook memorable meals and of course enjoy the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cute beach bungalow! This couple could not have been kinder or more accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!

Was a lovely place in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay over Christmas and was a much needed vacation. Madeline was very helpful and responsive. Would love to book here again sometime!

The place was exactly as pictured- but I didn't realize there was no common sitting area. However, our weather was beautiful and the outside sitting area under the deck comfortably served as that. Just be aware, if you like to watch movies, or sporting events together- it has to be from bed. That being said- the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped- and despite a person being upstairs, the upstairs noise was minimal. Easy walk to the sound and the ocean. We especially appreciated the umbrella, chairs and cart that were available for our use. We definitely enjoyed our long weekend at the beach! Thank you.

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

This spot is just what we needed. It was our second stay and looking forward to staying again.

What a cool place!!! The house is full of interesting art, poetry books, and comfortable and colorful furniture. The hosts left a fun assortment of tea and provided numerous comfort details such as fresh lemon grass spray in the bathroom. Truly one of the most charming and comfortable Airbnb choices I have ever made. If your staying in the area THIS IS THE PLACE!

Your home was beautiful very clean. We we’re staying in the area for a family reunion and finding this home worked out perfectly. I would actually stay again if and when we get a chance to come back to the area. We have stayed at many Airbnb over the years and your home was one of the best. The OBX Beach Box by Sarah was a perfect spot for me and my partner’s weekend get away. The instructions that were given were very simple and easy to follow. Just a cute cozy place. Would definitely stay here again!

Monica was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and seemed truly invested in making sure we enjoyed our stay and had a great visit to the OBX! Her place was very clean and just right for our needs, would return!

Longacres is a special place. It’s definitely rustic and my teenagers weren’t excited at first. But when it was time to go home, they didn’t want to leave. The outdoor shower and sleeping porch are amazing. My husband and I used them in all weather from the 70s to the 40s. The electric blanket kept us cozy on even the coldest nights. Staying at Longacres felt like glamping. You might have to deal with a few wasps or spiders, or you might run into some cobwebs. But the birds singing you awake every morning, the sun shining in through the tree, the wind whispering in the pines, and the blue sky over head during a shower make those bugs and cobwebs totally worth it! The location was a great jumping off point for all OBX adventures. Anne was a responsive host and quickly dealt with a minor issue we had. I hope we get to come back again sometime!

We really felt home away from home. Very cozy and welcoming property. We had everything what we need. We found great seafood market 4 min away. We cooked fresh catch for dinner every night. We like hiking, and biking. So many good trails around. We did a lot activities first part of the day and afternoon was great time at the beach. We will come back and recommend this charming place for a couple.

10/10! I enjoyed my stay so much I've already booked another stay there! The home was very clean as was evident by the prevalent smell of air freshener and fresh-smelling cleaning products. I have a very sensitive nose, so for me it was a bit much, but the issue was quickly and easily resolved by letting in the fresh ocean air. The home was extremely well-stocked and the bed was very comfy. The host was responsive and friendly, and the location is perfect -- very idyllic and peaceful.

We loved this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated-calm vibe. So cozy and comfortable. I’m also an Airbnb host and I can tell you this space is wonderful! Well worth the price point! Don’t miss out on the fire pit. Something about a fire with your family by the water…it’s truly magical. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Kathy is kind and accommodating. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Can’t say enough. 10/10.

Beautiful home with nice touches all around. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. Andrew was kind and very responsive. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle that's still within an hour of VA Beach.

Would definitely recommend booking this spot. Not only was Taylor an amazing and communicative host, the house was beautiful. Stayed a couple of nights as a pre-wedding celebration with the bride and some of her close friends. It was perfect. Can’t beat the outdoor space. Thanks for the wonderful stay! Will definitely return.
