We enjoyed our time in Ventura and this house was in a great location. Very close to all the areas we were visiting. Very cute neighborhood. The house was definitely as described however the remodel workmanship in the house was a bit haphazard and lacking in quality finish details. Still we had a good stay and I would recommend!

Advertised properly! What you see is what you get. Perfect space for a good rest. Good space for your dogs to run around outside in the backyard when the zoomies kick in!

I would go back again and again! I was lucky to get the dates and times it presented and I took it! So glad I did! The waves cleared my mind and the sunset was beautiful. The beach walk was so peaceful and I felt like it was just my personal ocean (hardly no one in sight). Thank you Amber for allowing me the opportunity to stay in this castle! I will be back!

We had a magical time staying at this quaint little house outside of town. Within seconds of parking the car, the horse next door stuck her nose over the fence to say hi to our 5 year old daughter who was over the moon to meet this gentle giant. She spent every moment available petting her nose and feeding her bits of grass. The house is super cozy and well stocked with kitchen items (pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, etc..) all the things needed to feel right at home. We even bbq’d on the patio. The house is in a rural area, plenty quiet and beautiful with a well stocked market 5 minutes toward Santa Paula and the town of Ojai 10 minutes in the other direction. Beds and couches are comfy, plenty of sheets blankets and towels available. Angela was super friendly & responsive if anything extra is needed. The WiFi worked great. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

We had a hard time leaving Rachel's place. It was absolutely gorgeous, so comfortable and the beds were like a dream. Every little detail of this home is picture-perfect! We arrived to the soft sound of beautiful music streaming from the TV and she left our little dog some delicious snacks - truly heartfelt hospitality. Our family enjoyed the beautiful backyard and took advantage of Rachel's excellent restaurant recommendations (Social Tap and McConnell's were DELISH). We were in town for the Cowboys training camp and went to the beach afterward, both of which were quick, 15-minute drives. It's the perfectly located home! We will most definitely be back. This Airbnb stay was an absolute gem! The location couldn't have been more perfect. It’s just a short, pleasant walk away from a pristine and quiet beach where we could unwind and relax without the crowds. The neighborhood itself exudes tranquility and safety, making it an ideal retreat. Plus, it’s conveniently close to all sorts of amenities, from local eateries to ethnic shops. Norma and Uni truly went above and beyond. They were incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any queries and catering to our needs. Their attentiveness and hospitality added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful beach getaway or a cozy base to explore the area, this place checks all the boxes. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Can we go back on vacation?! What a beautiful vacation home to stay and spend our family spring break! The house was wonderful, great location, close enough to LA, Malibu, and other great towns but far enough away that your feel secluded. We never heard a plane or any sirens the whole time we were at the house. One of my favorite spots was sitting in the spa when a warm breeze would drift the smell of lavender, rosemary, blooming wisteria, orange and lemon trees.... The kids enjoyed the pool and living room where we played a lot of cards and board games. There were many hiking paths within 20 min or less locations. Todd was very accommodating, the house was well stocked with essentials and simple touches that made you feel right at home. We will return in the future for sure!

We loved our stay at this beautiful, well maintained and well appointed home! In addition to being of architectural interest the home was cozy and comfortable for our whole family. The kids swam all day, and the adults cooked and enjoyed the back patio and atrium areas. The yard and outdoor areas were lovely and well cared for. There were so many things to do close by - from hikes, to shopping, restaurants and museums. Instructions and information provided by Dicle and Trisha were easy to follow and clear. They were responsive and helpful in all communications. Will book again.

Staying at Danna's place was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. I usually rent a cabin somewhere in the mountains with my best pup once a year for a quiet girls weekend. This year I was hoping for something more local and stumbled upon this gem of an experience. What a beautiful place Murray and Kay have. The property is easy to find and Murray was right there (with their horses) when I pulled in. The Airstream was fully equipped and I really didn't feel like I was deprived of any creature comforts. The solar battery was enough for my couple of devices to charge. Hiking trails right outside the door and views for days. One of their horses even made it up the mountain one night to say hello. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of blankets, linens and towels. I loved every minute of my stay and look forward to visiting again.

George’s place was the perfect beach getaway! The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location can't be beat - just a short walk to the beach made it so convenient to enjoy the sand and surf. The host was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for an amazing beach vacation. Five stars all the way!

This Airbnb stay was truly fantastic. The guest house is situated in a peaceful and secure neighborhood, making it an ideal retreat. The hosts have thoughtfully provided everything one could need and then some! We cooked several meals during our stay, thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. The coffee and tea bar was a delightful touch, complete with a variety of snacks. The level of hospitality we experienced was exceptional. The Host’s Guidebook was filled with great recommendations, and the restaurants we visited were outstanding. We’re already thinking of reasons to return to SoCal and would definitely choose to stay here again!

A beautiful house in lovely surroundings. It was a great meeting place for our family who were attending my father-in-law's memorial service. Lots of space . It was nice having so many condiments for our cooking. And we used an air fryer for the first time. It was cold outside so the extra blankets came in handy. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely pool and hot tub! All of the guests said they want to come back again! Erin was extremely responsive to any of our questions.

This is primarily a location for RVs but daughter and I did car camping. So, so appreciate Christian allowing us to use electricity for small additional charge. Had e-bikes requiring charging. Also allowed us to use waste water line. So, so convenient. Confused if we had to take our trash or if ok to leave trash and recyclables. So we left it ( so sorry if this was a problem). Our specific purpose was to be near the bike trail and it was right there. Also we are geocache lovers and we were close to many caches. Will consider returning. Thanx a bunch.

We loved our stay here. My wife loves mid century modern and the place was true to form inside and out. The minimalism was awesome and perfect for across the street from the beach. Pleasant change from the mansions and townhomes. I surf so suiting up in the garage and very brief walk to sand was great. Not many people around even better. Oxnard is our favorite getaway and this place was perfect for laying low and enjoying the beach. Go eat at Freddy's Pizza and order cheese sticks - old school Oxnard and so good!

My family stayed at Jami's place for a long weekend while celebrating my grandsons birthday at Universal Studios. We had a fabulous stay! Her home was fully stocked with everything we could imagine needing, it was very clean and Jami was an amazing and responsive host. We were allowed to bring our beloved dogs which the home is completely set up for. When we come back to the area, we will be sure to check to see if Jami's home is available!

Very Nice apartment home. Jason is a wonderful host. I had no issues just the hot water in the shower didn't really get that hot. But overall very nice stay. I will return when I'm back in town! Thank You Jason

Tim’s place was perfect. Tons of character and very comfy. The front yard and back yard are really lovely and the shack in the back was a real treat for our kids. The kitchen was roomy which really makes a difference even if you’re not cooking big meals. Thanks again Tim!
