Angela's place was fabulous, super clean, comfortable beds, great view. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. The free espresso coffee in the morning was great too! Highly recommend and will stay again :)

Was a perfect place for our family to stay for a night on the way through Paihia. Super spacious and had everything we needed. Jan was very welcoming and gave us some tips for our trip up north. Would definitely stay here again if we travel to Paihia.

Helen and Peter have a lovely location from which you can easily walk down into Paihia. They have thought of everything to make your stay extremely comfortable. The layout of the one bedroom suite was fantastic. Highly recommend and would stay here again on our next visit.

Absolutely beautiful place! Close to the town of Paihia with lots of shops and restaurants and easy access to Bay of Islands boat tours. The chalet is perfect for a couple with an amazing spa and beautiful balcony with a BBQ and good sized kitchen. Overall a fantastic place and thoughtful lovely hosts!

Lucy is just getting started but saved us from Cyclone Tam and gave us a clean, dry, comfortable room for the night. The location is funky and convenient and Lucy is a friendly and caring host.

You will be in excellent hands with Jan. She was a great help to us regarding getting organized in the town and arranging pick-up and drop off for an excursion. The photos are accurate and we all enjoyed a peaceful sleep. The location is ideal for enjoying the town. The pier, restaurants and beach are all within walking distance. There is a Woolworths a stone's throw away. Any questions about restaurants, excursions, etc., just ask this very helpful host.

Quail's Cottage is beautifully curated and well appointed. Lots of thought has gone into making the cottage relaxing and comfortable from the beds and linen, to the comfy seating. We made the best fresh snapper and salads whilst there...all with locally grown ingredients. Monganui is easy to walk to with cute cafes and restaurants. Nearby Cooper's Beach has useful local shopping area. There are beautiful beaches nearby. Quail's Cottage has a great view of the local harbour...and it's dog friendly! It is our second stay at the Cottage, and will definitely be back. Thank you, Richard

One of the Best Airbnb Experiences Ever! Our stay in Russell was absolutely unforgettable — this is hands down one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained spaces and super comfortable beds and living areas. But what really sets this place apart are the incredible outdoor features. The backyard opens directly onto the beach, creating the most amazing setting. With kayaks and a dinghy available to use, plus a trampoline, swings, volleyball net, and even a slackline, there's something for everyone — you could easily spend your entire stay without ever leaving the property! And after a day of exploring the water, soaking in the outdoor spa while watching the sunset is pure magic. Honestly, the photos in the listing don’t even come close to showing how special this place is. It exceeded every expectation, and we would rebook it in a heartbeat. Already hoping we can come back soon!

Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

Ideal for our group of golfing guys looking for a comfortable house with individual beds and close to all local amenities. Awesome outdoor area to have an end of day catchup before walking into Paihia for dinner. The next time we head north we will want to stay here again.

Apple tree bay was even more beautiful than we expected. The house was spacious and fun, the property was huge with amazing views and no neighbours. Comfortable beds, lots of things to do, clean, well stocked, host was very responsive, great windows, loved it.

Super stay at the bridge house, excellent location and surroundings. Pool, jetty and grounds were great so little need to venture further. Historic, large and well set up house with great spaces for relaxing and entertaining, including a well equipt spacious kitchen. Kevin was a fantastic host, friendly and accomodating always. Super privacy whilst there but Kevin wasn't far away if we needed anything. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to go back again in the future. Mangonui is a beautiful part of NZ, with so much to see and do in close proximity and the Bridge House offers private, peaceful, spacious accomodation, couldn't think of a better place to stay if in the area or a better host. Thanks Kevin. Our first airbnb experience and couldn't have been happier with our choice.
