The Boathouse is a single story building in a contemporary design, close to the main house with a shared garden going down to the waterside of Oulton Broad. Oulton Broad, has a variety of places to eat, a museum in the park and boat trips. Carlton Marshes is a stunning nature reserve and cafe. Lowestoft has a sandy beach with several cafes on the promenade. Southwold is a picturesque coastal town, a 25 minute drive away and Beccles, a beautiful market town on the banks of the river Waveney.

Welcome to our seaside chalet on a small friendly site situated in the lovely area of Kessingland. This area is great to explore. For families you have Africa Alive, Pleasure Wood Hills and beautiful beaches like Kessingland and Southwold. For quieter days out there is Snape Maltings, Minsmere and quiet towns like Beccles. But for us, the icing on the cake is the beach which is a stones throw away, tucked behind the chalet. We aim to give you the home from home chalet. 10% off a week stay.

Semi-detached one bedroom Cottage with views over the river. Situated 1 minutes walk to the Beccles open air heated public swimming pool and only 3 minutes walk to the vibrant town centre and river. Accommodation is on three levels with a large double bedroom, kitchen diner leading to the shower room and toilet, and lounge area containing a double sofa-bed. A conservatory off the lounge leads to a utility room with downstairs toilet and a south facing patio area. Off-road parking included.

Just a minute from the beach, our cosy annex is perfect for brisk coastal walks & snug winter evenings. Three great pubs are nearby (all serve food & are walkable, the nearest is just 4 mins away). Visit the beachside coffee hut, browse the Ferini Art Gallery, catch a show at the Seagull Theatre, or see the 12th-century church with its own sheep. Enjoy fish & chips with a sea view or head to Southwold (12 mins drive) or Africa Alive Zoo (7 mins drive). Private parking & easy A12 access.

There is a rear enclosed south facing garden perfect for relaxing. Part of the garage can be used for storing bikes or sports equipment etc during your stay.
