My son and I fished a local tournament out of the Vandemere wildlife boat launch. We usually drive an hour there and hour back. We were able to get there on Thursday, fished in AM and checked into house afterwards. We relaxed and felt immediately at home. Very clean, well maintained, everything you need to cook and eat there, also a coffee pot, Such a cute cozy comfortable coastal themed house. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Terry is an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and more for the perfect stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the cabin is so charming. We would absolutely book again and recommend anyone else to do so!

The house was clean and the kids loved the ping pong table. We liked that we could walk across street to the recreation center with a playground mini golf and a pool! Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

We just spent the weekend here. Place is perfect for a relaxing stay. The house is super nice, clean and perfectly furnished. The hot tub is lush, awesome to relax and watch the stars ! Minimal light pollution. We took the kayaks out which we loved. Lots of places to explore! Overall an awesome place to stay. Would definitely stay again. Thank you to the hosts !

Our stay was so relaxing and in close proximity to downtown New Bern. The mornings were so quiet with birds singing. We would definitely stay here again.

Lisa's place was exactly as described. The home is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Lisa takes great care in making her guests feel welcome. We arrived to a chilled bottle of wine and some delicious muffins. The location is perfect for easily exploring the town of Oriental. Our only wish was to have been able to stay longer. We will definitely book another stay when visiting the area.

Location, location, location. The setting was beautiful with rockers on the front porch overlooking the marina. Coffee shop, restaurants, and brewery within walking distance. And the price was reasonable.

We had a great stay. The screened in porch was a great place to relax. It was very clean. Quiet and Peaceful and easy to find. WiFi worked good. It gave the convenience of home without getting a hotel room. I would definitely stay again.

This place was very cute and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials for cooking (pots, pans), plus some nice extras like blender and mixer!

The stay was wonderful, even despite lousy weather! The 3 places on the deck were perfect, only we didn’t get to really sit there as the weather was cloudy and rainy and cold. We did bring in one rocking chair so we could both look out the wonderful window view! The kitchen was well supplied with everything, and beds were very comfortable. We’d both love to come back for another stay in war,er weather! ❤️🙏😁🤗. Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is beautifully updated, in wonderful condition, and was incredibly clean. We loved the view, the amenities, and the ease of check in/out. We will definitely stay again in the future!

Great place to stay! Large updated condo that’s tastefully decorated and has more than the usual limited kitchen items, games, etc.

Jennifer was a wonderful host. She upgraded us to a larger cottage due to work she needed to do to the original place we booked. It was a great location for us. We were in town for CycleNC Coastal Bike ride and we could ride our bikes to the registration area and the starting line. We could also walk to a couple of restaurants and a microbrewery. She was very responsive and getting in was a breeze, as was checkout. Thx so much Jennifer for being such a great host!

Sandra’s place was just as described. Pictures are accurate and the space is very nice. Sandra was very responsive to messages and very timely with responses as well. We enjoyed our time there . For my wife and I the bed was a little too firm but that’s just a matter of opinion and preference. Sandra was a flexible host and gave us the opportunity to check in at an earlier time. It was a wonderful stay.

Dawn’s condo was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the stars, River, and nature area. The host was extremely communicative and went out of her way to track down the answers to some questions that came up. We took advantage of the amazing weather and drove the hour to the beach, so we didn’t utilize the recreation center amenities on this trip. We would definitely stay at this condo again. Dawn made us feel right at home.

The studio apartment is in a peaceful location yet 15-20 minutes to downtown New Bern. I found it to be an easy jumping off point for tourism and, in my case, house-hunting. A clean, inviting place with all the basic amenities.
