The Gecko Bach, Tiny Home Accomodation

Continental breakfast provided for first 2nights of your stay. The Bach is small but big on comfort- hopefully there is everything you need! An outdoor bath & use of our spa. Only 2min walk to coffee & walking tracks; 8-10 min walk to train/bus station, supermarkets, library, restaurants, cafes. Relaxing Rural Retreat in Otaki

This new two-bedroom rural retreat is ideal for a relaxing break with family/ friends. Great indoor/outdoor living with a deck and views over a family friendly lifestyle property with a separate driveway on a no-exit road. The house is energy-efficient with solar power. It is a 5-minutes to the Ōtaki township, where the Te Wananga O Raukawa campus, and the Golf Course are. The township also contains a library, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The beach and Otaki Forks is just a 10-minute drive.

The house has a large three level deck with plenty of room for families & friends. It is a short walk to great local cafes/restaurants, a bakery & two well stocked dairies. Continental breakfast provisions provided for all guests. Linen, towels and beach towels provided. Our cleaner sorts the house after the stay.

Kitchenette type facilities so you can cook a basic meal. Conveniently located a 2min walk from Heretaunga train station taking you directly to Sky Stadium / the city, also close to Royal Wellington Golf Club & Trentham Race Course it is the ideal place to stay if you are attending an event at one of these venues. Johns Hut is located in our private manuka and forestry block. It is an idyllic spot with hundreds of acres to explore and with only native birds to join you. There is hot water for you to enjoy for outdoor showers and baths but no electricity and no phone reception, so you can truly relax and unwind. There is a large outdoor fire, self contained kitchen and plenty of beds - all beautifully restored in their rustic form. We would love to host you in our spot of heaven!
