Lovely relaxing spot! Right next to lovely walking/running/cycle trail and surrounded by quiet neighbours with a huge backyard. Great value for money!

A lovely town with a coastal and nature-filled vibe — very family-friendly. The host was wonderful and extremely helpful. The house is well-organized and comfortable for a family stay, including two bicycles available for guests to use. There are cute cafés around with a laid-back, holiday atmosphere.

Andreas place was amazing. My Mum and her friends had a lovely time. It was peaceful and quiet, stunning location, classic kiwi bach. Lovely little details, and extras. Andrea was responsive and helpful. Thanks, we will definitely be back.

Lovely quiet location but close enough to enjoy the CBD. It’s a new build which is great for cold days (yay double glazing!), and we were happy to be able to bring our four legged friend along!

Had a wonderful stay at Richard’s place! The place looked exactly like the photos and it was so lovely to have a garage to park in as well as being able to bring our dog. Appreciate all the small touches and great information booklet. The beds were comfy and the shower pressure was fantastic. Hope to stay again in the future!

We stayed for a week and absolutely loved our time here. It really felt like a home away from home. There was everything we needed and Kate was quick to respond to any questions. Loved all of the birdlife and the walks to cable car and botanical gardens. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Wellington.

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Melleny's place is a great house for great family holidays and friends gatherings. Melleny is very friendly and gave use very useful instructions and advise about the house. The house is great with lots of space inside and outside, a well maintained swimming pool and a nice garage with tennis table, darts and fussball. We spent the new year there with friends and had a great time! The house is not far from Martinborough, Greytown, Feathertown, and lots of nature spots to explore. It was great to go see the sea lion colony down at Cape Pallister (1h drive). We hope to come back for future summer holidays!

Right from the start we had good communications and a friendly welcome. Beautiful position and views and quiet and tranquil. Was a restful and peaceful 4 days. We were welcomed by Donna as we drove up to the house and she walked us to our rooms and explained everything to us showing us around the flat. There was fresh milk in the fridge along with chocolates and fruit from the garden. Dean was friendly and helpful, and we had several long conversations over the weekend about the property and the Kapiti Coast in general. The purpose of our stay was to relax but also visit the area with a view to moving to the Kapiti area, all our expectations were fulfilled, friendly people, lovely beaches and scenery and great weather. Joys bnb was private, cosy, trendy & spotless. Had everything we needed - quiet neighbourhood - within a short walking distance to a bustling array of shops, cafes etc. Thouroughly enjoyed our quick get away & loved being so close to the beach! 😍

Our stay at Anindita's property was fabulous. Anindita and her partner Neil were wonderful hosts. The property was clean, fully equipped and we had the most restful sleeps. The location was wonderful with public transport into the CBD of Wellington literally outside the front door. There were takeaways, supermarkets and other stores within walking distance. We had our gorgeous (well behaved dog with us) and he had a wonderful time. There was a fabulous doggy park literally a four minute walk from the property - perfect.

We had a lovely family weekend at Sandwalk. Beautiful location, great beach access - will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting us.

We had a lovely stay, the house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room, comfy chairs, amazing big deck and sunroom, awesome big backyard, the gas fire heated the house really quickly, and so lovely to have our dog welcome. Close to the beach and great food places nearby. Thanks so much.

What an amazing place to stay at! Everything was spotless clean. Everything was stocked up nicely and very well thought out. She knew we were bringing a 3 year old and a dog and she prepared for all of it. From the self watering water bowl for our dog, to the plugs being child proof, she thought if everything. She was also extremely responsive. We booked very last minute and she made up the beds as we preferred. There was real milk in the fridge waiting for us for our coffee. This was our best Airbnb experience by far and we have been from Tenerife to here in New Zealand in many places. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our stay! Nice big well fenced yard for our dog to stretch his legs.

A fabulous location close to city ferry, beaches and bush walks. Also easy walks to cafes and shops. We loved the privacy, the fenced courtyard so our dog was safe and a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the washing machine as we were there for a more extended stay, everything we needed to make simple meals, and space to work as well as relax. We highly recommend and will be back ourselves!
