Words can’t even begin to describe the AMAZING time we had at the River Island House. This was a wonderful escape from city life and a much deserved break from the work world. The house was perfect and comfortably fit all six adults (plus dogs). The picturesque river is the most beautiful part of this serine location. The river served as a backdrop for our family pictures and the sound is also very soothing. We come from the flatlands of Kansas, so being surrounded by mountains is always breathtaking. One afternoon was spent with local residents at Carter’s Camp (Nye,Montana). We had great conversation, ate wonderful food, drank ice cold beer and lost a few dollars in the small casino. We also had the opportunity to meet Ken (the man who built Island River House). It was a great way to learn some interesting history on where we were staying. We loved staying here! It was close waking distance to downtown ~5 minute walk. The space was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood!

We loved Taylor’s place! The views were amazing! Everything was better in person!! The house had cute details and everything you would need. I appreciate rentals with laundry detergent, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, general condiments, paper towels, dish washer pods. We didn’t need to buy anything other than food. So helpful on a trip. All the beds were very comfortable! The house is 5 minutes from Chico and fun local restaurants. We went into Yellowstone and saw Mammoth and drove Lamar Valley. We also loved Yellowstone Hot Springs and my son loved fishing in Yellowstone River. We hope to be back! Thank you!!

We had an incredible stay at this spacious home with stunning mountain views! The house was well-stocked with all the necessary amenities, making it feel like a home away from home. Cory has created such a comfy and cool space. We fell in love with the neighborhood, the fun architecture, which includes many very fun reading nooks, and of course the worldly art! It was the kind of place you visit and don’t want to leave. Cory’s caretaker Sarah is perhaps the most friendly human, who so warmly welcomed us, was engaging, and also gave us plenty of privacy. Oh and Cory has written the BEST welcome guide I’ve ever seen! We just love this home and cannot wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay in the beautifully furnished and decorated house. The bikes, games, DVDs, paints for rocks, grill, kitchen, and staff who stopped by were all great. A wonderful surprise were the horses here! They loved to eat grass we pick for them. The Paradise Valley location was tremendous, but the dirt road to the house after the highway has poor visibility and rough on sedan tires, especially at night or in bad weather with no streetlights. Huge laundry facilities and comfy rocking chairs, beds and couches. What a lovely ranch. Would love to return.

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous views. It was close enough to Livingston/Gardiner/Yellowstone that we could spend all day exploring and hiking without feeling rushed to get back. It was quiet and peaceful and felt like a retreat after a long day outside in the park. Only downside was a 2.5 mile drive on a rough gravel road to get to the cabin, however it was worth it for the peace, quiet and views. We loved our time there, and Melody was always very responsive with any questions we had.

Location is fully walkable to all of downtown, library, trails, food, shopping. Amy is an awesome host, responsive and communicative. The home is well appointed, comfortable, and a great base camp to deploy from. We’ll stay again on a future visit. Thank you Amy and Tim!

The spot is very unique! The valley is beyond words. Just Beautiful. The location is a little dificult to find (especially the first time) if you are not careful but just follow the instructions and they will take you right there. Inside the place everything was clean and perfect for relaxation. The mattress could better but also not a big deal if you like a Queen size. Overall we would have preferred a king size but again no bigge. My only complain was the full moon! LOL, that sneaky celestial body shined like an LED stadium light on that valley and it will completely illuminate your dome at night, so next time I will choose a darker night. This place is Highly recommended .

It’s true what all the other reviews say and then some. Mike and Elena were super hosts, their place was just lovely with breathtaking views. We can’t believe we lucked out with such a special spot. They work hard for their 5 stars and they deserve every one. Thank you for a peaceful warm home away from home lovely stay. We will be absolutely planning a return.

This was probably our favorite stay on our Yellowstone adventure. The cabin was a bit more rustic than we expected (not in bad way at all!) and being on a mountain ranch... we loved every minute we stayed here! It was awesome waking up to animals and the dog was super friendly and playful. We will stay here again for sure next time we visit Yellowstone.

Great trip! Phil is a great host, gave us a tour of the property when we got there and even left out snacks for us. The property and cabin are beautiful, highly recommend!

Absolutely adorable cabin in the woods. Very peaceful location, with birds, chipmunks and other wildlife. Very well stocked inside, lots of firewood for campfires and a little fishing pond nearby. Daniel was very kind, responsive and helpful! It was the calming respite my daughter and I needed and we can’t wait to go back.

Book it! 5 stars all around. Wish we could have stayed longer and we will be back if we ever get the chance!! Tim and Toni were incredibly thoughtful and had such a heartfelt welcoming gift! The views and the wildlife sightings in the area was unparalleled. Entrance to Yellowstone a short drive as well as town… and Yellowstone hot springs was a great treat for us only 8min away from our stay! Thank you so much, we had a very peaceful stay!

OMG! 😳❤️Breathtaking, stunning and beautiful beyond anything Ive ever seen. Photos will never do justice to what the eyes see and feel! Its a spiritual experience to be present to this unbelievable area! 🙏 I am driving across country and did not want to leave. The mountains grab your soul! Woke to sunshine flooding the cabin and cows right outside the window. If you are near, in or passing through Bozeman you gotta stay here! Thank you Kira

Cliff’s Cabin , the last stop on Hideaway Trail was the genuine, authentic Montana deal. The cabin set the table for 3 amazing days in Yellowstone and the Paradise Valley . Seeing deer on every trip thru the open ranch land on way to cabin was a bonus and the elevated view of the Yellowstone River and Crazy Mountains on the way out was amazing. The cabin was remote (which we wanted) but close enough to Livingston to enjoy their restaurants. Great experience … hope to visit again someday !

Perfect cabin with beautiful views in every direction. Lots of room. Perfectly cleaned and organized. House had everything that you could want or need. We had our 2 year old with us and didn't have to bring anything. House had a crib, kids plates and cutlery, baby gates etc. Tons of board games. Kitchen had all the utensils, not many places have a meat thermometer and this did. Its little things like this that set a regular host apart from a perfect/great host. Everything was clearly labeled and organized. Easy directions and perfect communication. Highly recommend and defiantly would stay again if in the area.
