An awesome experience like none other, we were there celebrating our twins 16th birthday and to say they loved it is an understatement! Lots to do from hiking, swimming in the Brazos, axe throwing, feeding animals to creating figurines and painting rocks. Lots to do, relax in the hot tub after activities but lots to do, Bill, Linda and Trista have lots to offer out here! We hope to be back in the future and experience their place again! Thanks Bill, Linda, and Trista!

Our stay at Country Cottage, Weatherford, April 16-19th, 2025 I cannot say enough good things about our hosts, the property, and our stay here. My son, my 88 year old mother, and myself had a wonderful time, and we really appreciate Donna and Dan for opening up their property. They were the best hosts ever and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The cottage was pleasant, and we absolutely loved all of the antiques and trinkets placed with care. We loved seeing and feeding the goats, hanging out with the horses, cats and dogs, and being able to roam around to find nice spots for readin and enjoying the day. Donna and Dan were delightful and really made us feel like family. And they were kind enough to loan us umbrellas the day we left due to a thunderstorm we were not prepared for. I would highly recommend this property, and would love to come back someday. Thank you Donna and Dan, and apologies for the delayed review.

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

Reading the news articles of the dairy and other framed memorabilia -- it was like a time capsule and very interesting. This place has great history and was great to see it preserved so well. Martha’s was absolutely a dream place. Very private and feels right at home. Lots of scenery and great for a weekend get away. Can’t wait to stay here again!
