I stayed here for 3 months while I was interning nearby. Carol made me feel right at home as if I lived in her house most of my life. I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. If you’re ever in the area I would highly recommend staying! Absolutely no complaints!!

An awesome experience like none other, we were there celebrating our twins 16th birthday and to say they loved it is an understatement! Lots to do from hiking, swimming in the Brazos, axe throwing, feeding animals to creating figurines and painting rocks. Lots to do, relax in the hot tub after activities but lots to do, Bill, Linda and Trista have lots to offer out here! We hope to be back in the future and experience their place again! Our stay at Country Cottage, Weatherford, April 16-19th, 2025 I cannot say enough good things about our hosts, the property, and our stay here. My son, my 88 year old mother, and myself had a wonderful time, and we really appreciate Donna and Dan for opening up their property. They were the best hosts ever and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The cottage was pleasant, and we absolutely loved all of the antiques and trinkets placed with care. We loved seeing and feeding the goats, hanging out with the horses, cats and dogs, and being able to roam around to find nice spots for readin and enjoying the day. Donna and Dan were delightful and really made us feel like family. And they were kind enough to loan us umbrellas the day we left due to a thunderstorm we were not prepared for. I would highly recommend this property, and would love to come back someday. Thank you Donna and Dan, and apologies for the delayed review.

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

Reading the news articles of the dairy and other framed memorabilia -- it was like a time capsule and very interesting. This place has great history and was great to see it preserved so well. Highly recommend!

great little place for a couple, beautiful area, private, quiet, lots to look at, place was clean and had everything we needed for a nice weekend, and Amanda was a wonderful and communicative host. I highly recommend this place to anybody.

This cabin is a gem. Cozy, cute, stocked with everything you might need, and the most incredible setting. We’ll be back again in a few months- our family had an amazing time enjoying the lovely walks under Pecan trees among the stunning and personable horses.

Wonderfully friendly hosts who have an inviting, relaxing space perfect for those who want to bring groceries, hole up and just spend time together. We were thrilled to find a cribbage board and cards in what we termed the "magic drawer" because it had so many useful, helpful items! The road there is a little rough, but even in our small car it was navigable... and worth it for us. You're only about half an hour from all the major stores / city things you'd need or want as well, so you can head into town for a meal or activity if that's your thing.

We had a fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb in Springtown! The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made the entire stay very comfortable. The peacefulness of the area was an added bonus — it’s a perfect spot to unwind and relax. The host was also very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and cozy getaway. Would definitely stay again!

Tim’s place was super. We felt right at home. Tim was a great host and greeted us like family when we arrived. You will love the privacy, accommodations and your kind host family. Not only is the space super comfortable but the property is very private and full of a number of farm animals. You will have a great time if you get a chance to stay at Thunder Ridge! Had an extended stay while I worked in Weatherford. Excellent location and comfortable accommodations. Enjoyed the surroundings with a donkey, goats, chickens and deer. Peaceful. I will miss Bonnie, the sweet dog.
