We loved our time here. The fishing in the river was great, the house was looked exactly as it is pictured and is so peaceful and relaxing. The house has a great setup for entertaining also! Lorinda is a wonderful host. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend staying here!!

The perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Oscar was amazing, was willing to work with me on adjusting the check in time, was friendly, but not overly friendly. if I'm ever in that area again, this is the only place I want to stay.

We didn’t get to stay as long as we intended but for the time that we did stay it was suitable and valuable for what it was. The pictures are a great assessment of the area. If you’re a city or suburban person, this may not be your cup of tea but if you’re looking to be, feel and enjoy outdoors … this place is PERFECT!

Wow Max’s place is an absolute must try experience. We arrived after dark and max had all of the outdoor lighting switched on. It was very welcoming and quite a sight to behold. We loved the space, everything was available for us to use. Wonderful. Thank you

amazing host, with an amazing property. it kinda isolated but a 5 minute drive and your in Azel. or about a 15 minute drive through a curvey back road with amazing scenery and you'll find yourself in Fort Worth. my family had an amazing time.

--> Super Chill, Pet-Friendly Stay with Bonus Peace of Mind <- I had such an awesome time staying here! Right from the start, the place felt super welcoming and relaxed. The property is so chill and has so much to do—there’s a pool, hammocks hanging between the trees, and swings to kick back on. Not to mention a barn where you can do your laundry. What really stood out for me was how pet-friendly everything is. I brought both my dogs along and it was honestly one of the easiest trips we’ve ever taken with them. It’s such an accommodating spot if you’re traveling with pets. Another thing that was a big plus: there’s a garage on the property where Oscar runs a clean, quiet mechanic shop. He’s an A.S.E. Master Technician, so if anything went wrong with my car (which thankfully it didn’t), I knew I'd be in good hands. That kind of peace of mind on a trip is priceless.

The Magical Treehouse w/ Slide on Brazos River!

This truly was a great quick getaway with the kids. Lots of exploring, lots of time to use imaginations, and very quiet and private. Our kids were between ages 5-11 and they all loved it! Trista was super sweet when we did the feeding barn animals and was very attentive with the kids. She gave us all the details of all the things we could do at the ranch. The house was perfect and had great space especially on the porch and outside. There is a dollar general about 10min down the road if you need anything last minute. The house was fully stocked with basic things which is so nice! We highly recommend this especially for people who enjoy being outdoors!! The river was so fun and we spent two days out there exploring all the rocks. There were life jackets paddle boards and canoes to use.

We loved our stay and had an amazing trip. Christina was very kind and communicative throughout our stay giving us updates on the river. There is plenty of things to do in the city while offering the perfect amount of privacy. We felt that we really got the vacation we needed in this location.

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!
