This was our second time staying at the lake house, and everything was just as wonderful as the first time. Joe and Izzy were the perfect hosts, always there to help and provide any information needed. The house and property continue to be drop-dead gorgeous, but it remains an extremely comfortable and livable home to stay in. This is by far the best Airbnb or VRBO that we have ever stayed at, and we would highly recommend it without hesitation. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Many thanks to Joe and Izzy for creating such a special place.

Our family loved this spot! The house is beautiful, clean and very peaceful. My kids all loved the basement which had a great assortment of games, toys and books. We visited for a weekend and went snowtubing at Mountain Creek (only about 12 minutes away). We also really enjoyed nearby Warwick, NY where we found nice shops and restaurants. It was a great stay - highly recommend!

I stayed here with my family and it was the coziest place! All the amenities were as described and the house was close to the slopes. Everything was in working condition and Kim’s instructions were clear and helpful. We had a great time!

The house and location are amazing! If you want to be right on the lake then this is certainly the house. You'll have everything you need and the house was spotless inside. Thank you Zach for being so responsive during our stay and allowing us to spend 10 days in your beautiful home..

Great house for a big group. Very beautiful and quiet. We had a great time

I chose this place for the setting and lake access. I like swimming and kayaking. There is a small dock with a ladder. My kids and I jumped off the dock and swam around and it’s doable. They also had many life vests. It’s a lake so there are some plants in the water near the shore but it wasn’t overgrown and you can swim right there. I suggest take one of the kayaks and explore the islands in the lake. There was one that had a rope swing off the rocks into deep water. Super fun! The house itself served our families needs well. It’s modern inside so you can chill watch TV and have those conveniences and be comfortable. You can also tune everything out and read and be cozy because it’s quiet. There are books and games and puzzles for the kids. Awesome large deck, saw some hummingbirds. The kitchen had everything we needed however we had to buy laundry detergent because we couldn’t find any there. Overall this place did not disappoint at all!

We had a great time here. The outdoor space, deck and kayak/ paddle boat was a big bonus. We will definitely go back!

The area was absolutely beautiful. Valhalla Lake was private with stunning views. The cabin was exactly as it was described and the book of directions that was left for guidance was easy to follow.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the lake house. The interior felt welcoming and homey, and we enjoyed the peaceful setting of the lake house. There were nice views down to the lake, and we really liked the layout of the bedrooms which were separated nicely for privacy from each other, while being close enough for the kids. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of toiletries. The kids were delighted to climb the ladder to the loft and spent plenty of time up there. The kitchen was well stocked, with probably more pans and gadgets than we have at home. Appreciated the s'mores kit, which the kids toasted up. We enjoyed the outdoor fire, which had plenty of seating and a nice supply of wood. The highlight was definitely the time we spent on the lake. We got out in the pedal boat and kayaks. The kids enjoyed exploring a deserted island and watching some lake wildlife as we spent time on the water. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The house is beautiful ... the view of the lake, surroundings, convenience in & out of the house are all plusses. We just went the two of us, but you could comfortable go with another couple or more. David is very attentive and incredibly nice. We'll always remember the house as a fun and important part of our wedding weekend on Lake Hopatcong!

Chris’ place was immaculately decorated and felt peaceful! Beautiful spot right on the pristine lake, foliage being in peak season definitely made things even better. Close to fun fall towns like Sleepy Hollow and Cold Spring, but honestly could just spend every minute relaxing at the well-stocked home. You can tell Chris and his family take pride in their home and are happy to share it to price the best experience for their guests. Chris was quick to respond if needed and went out of his way to make a trip quickly to ensure we were properly taken care of at the home. 10/10 - would recommend!

The house is well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook/grill. The hot tub was pleasant and the backyard was great for our kids. The location is only about 7 minutes from downtown Cold Spring and 15-20 minutes from Beacon. The location was ideal for wanting a mix of peace and quiet with accessibility to local attractions.

The house was comfortable and extremely well equipped. Though the weather was very cold, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the lake with all the windows. Eric was always available to answer any questions. The house has a game room on first floor with shuffleboard, pool table , darts and other games. I’d we inky had time.

Catherine’s place for me is the best. My husband and I love to go back again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely lake house and we loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer. Bob was great in providing instructions and information, and was very flexible. There is good parking for 3 cars, pictures and description is very accurate. You do have to walk down a path and steps to the house (as pictured), and the three main bedrooms are upstairs. The views are the lake are fantastic! And the covered porch on the back of the house looking out over the lake is just wonderful. This was a very special gathering of lifelong friends for a wedding celebration nearby and it was such a great place to stay to enjoy spending time together in a beautiful setting. The kitchen is exceedingly well stocked with everything needed to cook and prepare meals, great appliances and both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker (preferred) is provided. Wifi worked well. Bathrooms very clean. Lovely linens, bedding and towels provided. Bob was a wonderful host and this is a wonderful gem of a place.

Very nice cabin inside and out. There are houses next to the cabin the pictures don't show it. The stove I'm not sure if I didn't know how to turn it on or if it doesn't work. The outhouse need some ventilation. Other than that everything else was just as I expected from the pictures. I enjoyed the stay. The fireplace is really beautiful and the cabin inside is really cozy and nice. I liked that we were able to use Netflix because it was very windy one day and we stayed inside watching movies by the fireplace really nice. No luck fishing. I recommend this cabin if you like more authentic experience of living in the cabin and Bruce is a good host you really appreciate it.

This place needs a 6-star rating. The location is serene and absolutely stunning; the cabin faces a small island. It’s well-heated, had everything we need, and is perfect for a 4-person cabin retreat. Cynthia and Warren greeted us on our arrival, and they were super kind and hospitable. Thank you Cindy, we created some magical memories at your place.

Very cozy, private, clean and feellikehome spot. Beautiful house on the lake with everything you need. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to everyone who is looking forward for a little getaway from busy life. Great host, responds quickly if any questions, clear instructions and info made my stay super comfortable and memorable. Great experience.

Indian lake is holy ground. I’m a level 5 empath and energy worker. Ancient wisdom energy beings thrive wi th tallman state park behind the house and the fauna and healthy ecosystem speak for itself. In these three day visit we saw 1) 2 Pilated woodpecker’s 2) a family of 6 bears replete with a cub hugging a tree 3) a great grey heron with 7 foot wing span 4) a gaggle of giant crows and 5) a lone HUGE black bear > 600 lbs. if nature is your cup of tea Lionel’s your man. Thanks again we will be back!

We had an amazing stay at this lakefront log cabin on Greenwood Lake. The house is huge yet is still extremely warm and cozy with that classic wooden cabin charm. The heating and cooling system are superb and the house includes heated floors in all bathrooms! The views of the lake are absolutely beautiful, rain or shine, of which we experienced both during our stay. It is the perfect spot to unwind and just enjoy the quiet. The house is furnished for indoor all day and outdoor in and out days! The log cabin was truly spotless and had everything we needed, from kitchen amenities to comfy beds. Rameez and Sadaf were incredibly kind and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even better. A peaceful, charming, much needed getaway only an hour and a half out from the business of NYC. We will be coming back!
