We love Peggy’s place. The view is wonderful, and everything well apportioned. This is our second stay and would gladly visit again.

Fantastic spot to spend the weekend. If you are hoping for peaceful stay, make sure to book here! Pamela thought of everything and had so many little touches that made the stay comfortable.

The only thing wrong with our stay was it wasn't long enough! The condo is beautiful and clean. There was a welcome cheese and cracker tray in the refrigerator for us when we arrived. The lake is gorgeous and we could have sat on the balcony watching the boats come in all day if we didn't have places to be :) There were 8 deer munching on the grass!!! It was the perfect place to stay to see a show at The Harvester. Great coffee/breakfast place just 10 min away, also on the lake. I can't wait to come back when it is a little warmer and take out the paddle board :)

Our stay was lovely in this organized and clean space. The scenery was beautiful with multiple places to sit, eat, visit, and enjoy our family getaway. Theresa was extremely responsive and left clear instructions. I would definitely consider this rental again as it is close to Radford, but just far enough away to have a relaxing and peaceful spot to gather.

This was a quiet, cute and comfy place to stay and the bed was AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!!!!

We had a very pleasant October stay, at a time when the Smith Mountain Lake area was very picturesque with the Fall colors, and particularly quiet and peaceful. The main floor of the house is expansive with an abundance of seating to enjoy a clear view of the lake, and from late afternoon to early evening it gets some beautiful light reflected off the water. We found the house welcoming (attention to detail like labels on every light switch were appreciated) and impressively well-stocked with most of the things we needed during our stay. The only downside to our trip was that we found a that many of restaurants and the few nearby attractions were closed for the season, but we still found a few nice things to do with our time. There are several nice trails at the nearby state park, and we particularly enjoyed renting kayaks to take out on the lake.

Everyone enjoyed staying here! Came up for a football game! Met the neighbor. Super nice people! Loved seeing the deer in the area! Couldn’t believe we saw 2 large bucks walking around during the day! Wish we had our boat! Beautiful looking across the lake and seeing the fall foliage!

Really enjoyed our stay! One of the days was rainy and it was still great to just sit and read a book while looking at the lake. The main reason we booked this location was for the sandy beach area, it did not disappoint. Made it very easy to get our dogs in the water. And not have to take them to the park. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. The also returned the dog cleaning fee very quickly which is always appreciated!! The dock is very well positioned for easy in, easy out should you want to rent a boat. The pictures are an accurate representation of the home. Easy to move around and a good seating. The deck is very large and can’t wait to see what they do with the reno in the spring!

Melissa was beyond accommodating and responsive to our family. Her home is beautiful and feels like home away from home. It is clear that Melissa takes tremendous pride in the home, the experience for her guests and the overall delivery of the stay with all that it encompasses! We've stayed at many Airbnb's but this one was exclusively special and touched our hearts as a family. We needed a place that was not only clean and full of amenities but also felt like home during a time that we needed it. Thank you Melissa for being an amazing host who truly cares about her guests! We love your lake home and our children said, "this place is awesome Mom!" :)

We all enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse from young to old and very particular teens in between! We loved the bedroom setup with the built in beds upstairs and the spacious and comfortable rooms to relax in. The open concept kitchen and dining and living room was great with a beautiful view of the property outside. We had tons of fun in the game room and had some great family pool time. The hot tub was a real treat and felt very relaxing. The teens loved the kayaks and took them out to explore the lake for a few hours. The area is very quiet and serene and the people in town and at the nearby state park are very friendly. All in all this was very satisfying as a family winter vacation and the kids are already asking when we will be going back! Thanks for sharing this amazing property with us.

The house is beautifully decorated, the river was amazing, and all the fish were hiding. The weather took a turn for the worse. It was cold and it was blowing snow. However, the house was warm a cozy. Great place to relax.

My family and I had a great time, the house was right on the water. We had so much fun on the dock fishing and socializing. We pulled our boat right to the dock, everyone had a great time. The house had the perfect amount of space, the kitchen was well stocked, 5 stars we will be back!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Excellent place to stay at. Things are easy to get to and a straight shot to go shop and eat or go to the beach with a gorgeous balcony view. Condo was very clean and I could not complain.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!

My husband and I had a spectacular time during our stay! The place was cozy and utterly peaceful. Along with the breathtaking view of the lake, as chefs we enjoyed the great kitchen lol. Katie is super responsive and even allowed us to come back and look for my husband’s wedding band. Thank God we found it. I cannot wait to come back. I think we found our SML vacation spot forever lol. 10/10 recommend to others.

This was a solo get away trip for me to get familiar with SML, where I had never been before. It was a perfect time of year to visit, the weather was ideal and it was not busy at the lake. The property was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities you could possibly want or need. Ben was very responsive, and personable, and checkin and out was easy. I never had any questions or issues or a needed to communicate with Ben because it was all very well detailed in the instructions however, I did ask for early checkin and he quickly let me know that I was welcome to checkin as soon as I arrived at SML. The view from the property was incredible, right on the water with the mountain in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunrise and also using the patio lights at night and the Blackstone grill. I did not use the common amenities or being a boat however it was made easy to do so. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to be at SML.
