We were looking for a quiet getaway and this is exactly what we needed. Very private and beautiful views of the black river. House was beautiful and well equipped with whatever you needed.

There was an issue with the water well. The maintenance guys were there within the hour to resolve the problem. Which wound up being an issue with the pump itself. The well company was very prompt and fixed the problem. To have them pull a well, on Saturday before Easter Sunday, on short notice, was impressive. I would recommend this stay to anyone. Thank you

My wife and I had a terrific stay down in cabin 31. The views were great, we were close to everything we wanted to do and the cabin itself was fantastic! Sandy and her husband (I apologize for not catching your name lol) were great hosts and have put in a lot of hard work into this great campsite. We’ll be back soon!

Alberta’s place was exactly as described-cozy, peaceful, private, and clean! The hot tub and fire pit set up was a highlight, and the beautiful surroundings gave such a relaxed feeling to the stay. We even discovered an owl on our first night and got to watch it every day! Alberta was very responsive and eager to meet our needs, and added personal touches to our stay for our anniversary celebration. The kitchen was well stocked, bathroom clean, and the whole place is clearly well taken care of. We definitely would stay here again if we’re in the area! Five stars all around!

This cabin is definitely in my top 5 of all time cabins. We typically rent 5-10 cabins a year and this one is rated a 10 . Perfectly small for a romantic getaway with every amenity you would need . They thought of everything . We really enjoyed the stay and will be back when it gets a little hotter so we can enjoy the beach.

We went there for our anniversary and had the best time! The view was incredible and we were able to enjoy nature in comfort. The hot tub was everything!

My partner and I came for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect! The lake was beautiful, Lesley and the lodge staff were very friendly, and the hot tub was so nice to have access to. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking another stay at least once a year if not more. Thank you! 😊

The weekend we went had more rain then they had ever had, causing roads to be flood or washed out and closed from the flash floods- all which was beyond their control. While on the road leading to the cabin, we came to spot that appeared to be washed out and were hesitant to continue forward. We then saw headlights coming down the drive and was greeted by a nice young man who helped us to continue to the cabin. The electric was also out (again not their fault) due to the storm and we were provided with extra flash lights and water. Any concerns we had were quickly responded to and the cabin was beautiful, clean and just perfect. The electric came back on the following afternoon and although the main road out was closed (flash flooding) it was reopened by check out, again all of this beyond their control. I would absolutely recommend this place for a quiet romantic getaway or a family vacation. They have cabins and other housing of all size to accommodate everyone

Absolutely perfect!!! Our family was looking for a place big enough to comfortably accommodate us. There were seven of us & we were celebrating three birthdays. Julie's place certainly fit the bill! Our entire family loves Current River! Even though we are in the cold month of February, we could still enjoy the beauty of the river & it's surroundings. Magnificent views from River Blue Cabin! The cabin was very welcoming. The layout was great for our bunch. The added bonus of having two separate living areas & kitchens was perfect! It was cozy yet everyone had their space. The kitchens were very well set up with most everything you might need. ( Liked the coffee mugs so much in the upstairs kitchen that I ordered a set for home.) Our host, Julie, was very accommodating & so responsive! There were four generations of us staying in River Blue Cabin & we had a great experience! Many laughs & memories made! Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful cabin!!!

We have stayed here before and enjoy it each time we go. Our dogs love it and hate to leave at the end of our trip.

We had a great time at Robins cabin. The natural spring and cave on the property were awesome. It was a perfect getaway for my family. Robin was a superstar….she informed me my daughter left some jewelry and mailed it to me. That was so nice and honest. We definitely would like to stay there again.

Wonder place. Very peaceful and hidden. The drive to the cabin makes you feel remote but there is a store is like 20 mins from the cabin if you need something. I would recommend an suv or truck to get there but not required. We got to meet the host and he is very friendly. He was working on the property but didn’t bother us at all. Very peaceful not noise but birds. The cabin was very clean and brand new. WiFi worked great and the fire pit is awesome. They had some wood for you to buy so you don’t have to run to the store. Super helpful. I definitely would stay again if we are In the area.

Our second stay at this beautiful hidden gem was yet another successful family vacation. Kathy and Robert are such amazing and generous hosts. Despite several challenges that arose such as a hurt elderly dog and several damaging storms that knocked out power, Kathy and Robert jumped into action without missing a beat. They made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed every moment of our stay. Whether it's a peaceful retreat or a family glamping experience you're looking for, this place offers so many options. Hike, bike, fish, and explore their private piece of Midwest wilderness. You can't beat the experience for this price. Myself, my husband and our two little boys enjoy this place so much, it will be a yearly vacation to look forward to. We already miss the sites, sounds, and lovable pups. And if course our fabulous hosts who are now like family. Until next year....

I’m glad we stayed at one of Linda’s cabins. She’s an excellent host! We originally rented side A, but I realized after booking that it didn’t have a kitchen, and we planned on cooking most of the 5 nights we were there. She so graciously switched us to side B! The farm is SO beautiful, and thankfully the rain cleared away long enough for my daughter and I to walk one of the trails — even though we had to work around some giant puddles. 😆 It’s seriously so gorgeous! This particular listing is a cabin with 2 sides rented out, and the walls are PAPER thin, so just be aware of that! Definitely no fault to the host, but we could hear a lot of movement next door. I’m sure they could hear us too, though we tried hard to keep our 4-year old contained while indoors. Haha! THANK YOU, Linda! We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer and dryer. Personally, we would choose a single cabin next time, just for a little more space and less stress about our daughter’s crazy activeness. 🤭

A great little cabin , so quiet and peaceful. We wanted to get away from it all and it was perfect place to do so . We really enjoyed the stay . Wonderful wildlife around the cabin got some nice pictures. Great host very responsive and friendly. Clean cabin . Would definitely stay again .

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, the river was gorgeous, and the cabin was cozy and rather spacious! We had a campfire in the firepit and watched a few of the DVDs (big selection!). The kids had fun waving to the neighbors who drove by. Great weekend, great cabin, great host!

We went for a siblings outing and it was amazing. We went to the pool and enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing was fun and also being able to see beavers right outside was pretty amazing. I will definitely be booking another time. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. Perfect place I recommend this place 100%.

If you are seeking peace and a quiet surroundings, this is the place to stay. There are lakes and lots of areas to hike. The kitchen is stocked with the equipment for some serious cooking and there is a grill and a firepit outside. The internet service is fast, the cable service has plenty to watch and the cabin is stocked with board games. If you are looking for lots of restaurants and high end grocery stores, this is probably not the best area for you.

Home was very clean. Host was very responsive and always willing to answer any questions before booking. Will be back again.

The cabin and surroundings were perfect for our family getaway--beautiful, tranquil, private, clean, and very comfortable! We enjoyed the river access, beautiful sunsets, stars and bird life. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. There was a lot of thought that went into the decorating and amenities inside the cabin that we appreciated and enjoyed including dvds, games and records. This is an air b&b gem!!

Nice host. Second time I and my friends have stayed the re and we’ll probably be back. Real responsive lady we needed a place last minute and got us booked in like 15 minutes. One bedroom but with the fold out bed and massive couch it fits a surprising amount of people comfortably. Uhh. Also if you forget blankets and think she doesn’t have any and spend half the night drunk and uncomfortably cold they are in the white wicker basket beside the couch by the red table. With extra sheets and stuff too.

The panther den was very well discribe with extra little touches that weren’t expected! Jeff made it easy to communicate. He gave us a list of things to do and did tell us that most dining and shopping would be a little drive. Nothing to complain about! I hope others decide to come stay at Jeff’s panther den!
