Cute little Airbnb in the heart of Manistee! Easy access to downtown and the beach. we came for a little fishing and it was perfect for what we needed. Lots of cute decorations too.

One of the most unique Airbnb places we've stayed in. The apartment has a lot of stairs, but climbing up them is well worth the effort! It is situated on the top floor of an old bank. It's been renovated to be bright and modern with an open concept. The high ceilings and large windows, makes the place airy and bright. Beds were comfortable. A full kitchen had everything needed. Lots of hot water-pressure great. Extra bonuses - a balcony off the back of the apartment overlooks the Manistee River and there's a vintage movie theater just across the street. The river is a freighter channel with drawbridges! You can check in advance to see when ships will pass and if you are lucky, you may see one. The Vouge theater seems to show one new movie, a classic movie, and an indy type movie. The rest of the neighborhood is all 19th century/early 20th century buildings - pubs, coffee shops, a restaurant, antique shops, etc. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 50 mins away. We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

Second time I have stayed with Ron and Judy. I always feel at home and so loved. They always look out for me and make sure I am ok and if I need anything. Even checked on my oil leak in my car I did not know I had. Their place is always beautiful and just like the pictures ( I think better than the pictures). You could not ask for a better host. Your Peaches will be back soon.

Felicia's rental unit is better than the photos! :) It is peaceful, calm, and in a picturesque part of Manistee. The unit has great windows: in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. There is so much great natural light that makes this place feel extra special and homey. Spacious and comfortable. Comfortable bed and furniture. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Relaxing bathtub. I stayed here for a long weekend as a solo traveler, and I can't wait to return for another stay. It would be a great place for a longer stay as well. Felicia was a proactive and gracious host. She thoughtfully provided pasta and sauce to cook (which I used!). She also let me park in the driveway during the snowy weekend, which was much appreciated. Lovely stay! Can't sing enough praises!

My partner and I loved staying here over the winter holiday. It was very well-thought out design in such a small space and most things we needed for our stay were included by the host. It seems like they thought of everything and we agreed that this would be a very nice place to stay in the summertime. The only thing I’ll say is that I don’t think the Airbnb could sleep 4 - when the Murphy bed is down, there isn’t much room remaining. We were very comfortable but we are two fairly small people. This is an excellent space for a couple! Thank you again.

Exactly as described and very homey. Everything was clean and I had everything I needed. Location was great. The sunsets on Lake Michigan were 5 minutes away. Thanks for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

Had a great experience. The house is set up perfectly for a family or group. Close to town, highway and restaurants. The host is very easy to work with and had great extra touches - coffee snacks soaps etc. 10/10 happy!

This home is gorgeous and the lake views are fantastic! We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area.

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

This was our 2nd time staying at Chris’s place. It really IS perfect. We like to relax and spend time with family and friends in this space. The kitchen was stocked and we found it easy to Prepare meals. The appliances were up to date. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean.

We had a fantastic time. Our winter walk on the beach w/the grandkids will be a lasting memory. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The home's location is very private... no hustle and bustle. It is filled with large windows everywhere and the beauty of the property during winter was amazing! Nothing was spared in our needs. Plenty of linens and towels for a big group. We didn't eat out and cooked each meal in the well appointed kitchen w/all the pots and pans and accessories that you need. Selma was great, was quick to communicate and very welcoming. We plan on booking again!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s beautiful place! It was a perfect spot for our three generation family…cozy places to sleep, 2 1/2 bathrooms, board games for days, space for lounging and toddler play, a great kitchen/dining area for all of our meals, great outdoor space with a hot tub, and access to the gorgeous beach. We played games, cooked meals, watched the Olympics and a movie or two, soaked in the hot tub, had great beach time, and visited nearby attractions. We’ll never forget Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo, Little Sable Point Lighthouse, and the Cherry Point Farm and Market’s beautiful flower maze. And then the beach time back at “home”….the 163 steps to the Lake were no problem for the 20 mo. old, 75 yr. old, and everyone in between! Many trips to the beach offered windy days with fantastic waves, calm days with peaceful breezes, and evening sunsets with s’mores around a campfire…doesn’t get much better! Thanks to Sandra for allowing us to make wonderful memories

Paul was great. Responsive and helpful. Had a couple of questions about how things worked while we were there and he responded within minutes. Solid sleeping for 10 without pullouts.

Overall, excellent choice for us for the first leg of our golf trip at Arcadia Bluffs.

Bob is a great host! This was our 3rd year staying at the Book Mark, we will be back next year for our annual fall get away!! The coffee & smoothies are fabulous, the baristas are so nice and helpful, the 10% discount on items in the bookstore is a great benefit and we try to take advantage of it each time we stay! The best place we’ve ever stayed at!! Thanks Bob & staff!!

This was our second time staying at Allison’s condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed our time hanging out there with our family. It’s spacious, clean and close to the downtown. Thank you, Allison, for another wonderful stay!

Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Location was amazing short walking distance of several great restaurants and right on a great bike path that you could ride endlessly. The pool was added bonus for 2 kids and highly recommend boat rental place in Fruitport!

We had an amazing stay here over New Year’s Eve! It was the perfect location and we felt right at home! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. All of the appliances as well as the washer and dryer were clean and the extra blankets and linens were great to have on extra cold nights! We are local to the area and wanted to stay close to downtown. This is definitely a condo we will rent again in the future. We did have a few questions during our stay and they were really quick at responding and very friendly. The condo overall felt very much like home and had lots of extra comforts such as pillows, blankets, board games etc and didn’t at all feel like a bare bones kind of Air B &B. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us for a few nights!
