This is a secluded family destination in Amish country but close to numerous amenities. You will enjoy beautiful views of the pond from all floors and decks. Numerous hiking trails and the Susquehanna River within minutes. Working Amish farms surround this property and yet you are within 30 Minutes of Lancaster City. Beautiful Creekside Cabin

The beautiful cabin is a nature lover's paradise with a babbling brook that offers solace for the body and soul. It is a retreat that will allow you to feel the presence of God as you relax and take deep breaths! This home has a master bedroom with a queen bed, and a second bedroom with a single trundle bed. The kitchen is slightly stocked (pots, dishes, drip coffee maker, small refrig and an antique stove, but no working oven). A gas fireplace adds a cozy feature to the living space.

Cabin is very charming, but rustic. Kitchen has full size frig, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, toaster+ keurig. Coffee, condiments, soap & shampoo provided. There is a gas grill. Guests provide their qs sheets, towels, campfire wood & drinking water. A variety of dvd’s & games, hot water in & outside shower & tub. Tubes for floating provided, swim your own risk. Fire pit, creek is stocked. Steps to deck overlooking the creek.Trash goes home with guests, smoking on the decks only.

The timeless character of the home, paired with the peaceful property creates an escape that feels like you've gone back in time, all while being only 20 minutes outside of Lancaster City. The mansion was home to the first treasurer of the US, General Edward Hand’s daughter, and President Buchanan’s fiance.
