What a stunning house in the most gorgeous area ... Mhairi's house is a complete fairytale and was perfect for myself and 11 other friends to stay for the weekend. The house was clean, stylish, and warm with a huge patio and fabulous living / dining space. We were all desperate to move in - a real dream house. It is also close to a loch and lovely swimming spots which are a short walk away from the house. We'll be recommending this place to everyone and would love to return! Thank you Mhairi for all your advice and helping us have such a wonderful weekend together :)

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

The apartment is perfect for a pleasant stay in Callander. It's large and spacious, and the fact that it has a garden makes it even more enjoyable. Recommended!

An absolutely charming place! We stayed one night and were smitten from as soon as we checked in. The loveliest little touches in the interior, from the record player to the board games and books, and oh, what a beautiful garden and outdoor experience to behold! Stayed for 3 nights over New year with the family, lovely home which made us all feel comfortable staying in, 'another home from home' Ample space for 9 adults , a child and dog Lovely views of the hills from the back garden , even more so when it was snowing. 1 minute walk to the shop, even popped into the local pub for Ne'erday drinks. The space was perfect for us. The kids loved the big garden and access to the beach. The house is cosy and views are breathtaking. Beds are comfortable and generally the house felt like a home for our holiday. Had great fun with the table tennis.

Having visted Rannoch Lodge and Ghillies Cottage for many, many years, it is now home from home. Yes, it's a long drive in but boy is the view worth it! Instant peace, tranquility and relaxation in a breathtaking setting. Just a minute walk to the lawn and the loch with the most beautiful firepit for warmth at all times of the year if you are happy to potter about. Alternatively there's plenty of walking from the doorstep. Supermarkets will deliver to the door but if you do forget something then the local shop is located just 20 mins away in Kinloch Rannoch. The tea room there is also recommended as is the one at the railway station - but note this one is not open out of season. The cottage as usual is always spotlessly clean and Irek is on hand if there are any issues or to answer any questions. Great communication before arrival and a handy guide supplied too. Thanks once again to Richard and the team at Rannoch Lodge for another wonderful stay.

Where else can you sot in a hot tub under a 100 year old church and see the mountains of Scotland???!! Beautiful location, cozy little home. Easy to walk all of town, beautiful views and a bit of backyard golf!! Kevin’s place was perfect for our short stay, wish we could have stayed longer!!! Great value, we will definitely be back!!

Second visit for us and hopefully won’t be the last. Beautiful surroundings, clean, modern accommodation with thoughtful touches. Explored more of the walks around the cottage this time and the area is stunning. Highly recommended.

I had a really wonderful stay at Ptarmigan's Nest! Jerome and Tracey have been excellent hosts-welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The place was immaculately clean, and all the little touches made it feel very cozy. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had everything I needed (I especially love the air fryer and will definitely be getting one for myself!) The local area is gorgeous, with plenty of beautiful walks and scenery nearby. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay! Thanks for being great hosts :)

Elizabeth’s flat was great. Central location. Parking on doorstep. Everything you needed was on hand and very clean. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

A location with an interesting history; just a few minutes walk (beside the river) from Dunblane’s centre but tranquil, comfortable and secluded. Perfect to visit the surrounding area but also an easy train journey to Stirling and Edinburgh for the sights.

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

We stayed at this beautiful property during the Scottish portion of our UK trip, and it was perfect! Peaceful, quiet, surrounded by nature and areas to roam. Also a great spot for day trips in any direction. The property was beautifully maintained, and the house had everything we needed and more. Jerome and Tracey were so kind, meeting us at check in and wishing us well as we left. Excellent communication, and just lovely overall. I hope to get back there again someday!

Had an amazing weekend away. The cabin was lovely and in such a nice location. Hot tub was great!! Leigh was a great host always on the other end of the phone answering our questions. We will definitely be back! would highly recommend

A wonderfully designed space with beautiful surroundings and Laura was wonderful to deal with. Would 10/10 recommend staying here if looking to stay close to Dunkeld for exploration.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Alice was very friendly and welcoming. The place looked just like the pictures—clean, quiet, and beautifully located. We were lucky with the weather and really enjoyed using the fire pit with a great view of the surroundings. The outdoor bathtub was also incredibly relaxing. Highly recommended!

Set in a stunning, off-grid location, this bothy is rustic by design and fantastic value. A 30-45 minute drive along gravel and forestry tracks primes you for a genuine unplugged getaway. Although entirely off grid, there are plenty of USB outlets powered by solar panels to keep your devices charged. A lone neighbour sits next door, though we never crossed paths - just their two friendly dogs, who often hung around the parking area and gave a warm, homely welcome. The sauna is a nice touch for warming up after a dip in the burn. Inside, the space feels simple and sometimes a bit rough around the edges - don’t expect spotless sheen, but that’s the small trade off that keeps the price so attractive in such a wild setting. With endless trails on your doorstep, it’s the perfect base for immersing yourself in nature.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The log cabin is generously proportioned, well equipped and situated in the most beautiful spot. The games room is great fun and the outside space is well designed. We relaxed in the wood fuelled hot tub in woodland surroundings. We will definitely return. Thank you Tara.

My wife and two young daughters and I had a wonderful, peaceful and soul filling long weekend here. Beautiful surroundings, only half an hour from home but felt like a whole different world. Peaceful cozy cabin, perfect for the kids with all the swings, open space to explore and the fenced in garden. We had a wonderful time and came home after an incredible adventure, would highly recommend. Only thing needing a little love is the shower set up. Great for rinsing the kids, took me right back to staying at my Grans place which I loved, but my American wife had never seen anything like it before. Made it even funnier for me to be honest! We loved it, thanks for having us.

Agree with an earlier review, the accommodation is even better than the photos ! Lovely peaceful location, the balcony was a great space to use and watch the wildlife passing by. Great enclosed garden for the dogs & lovely walks from the house. We really enjoyed our stay here.
