We could not have found a better place to stay while having renovations done at our own home. We packed up our gaggle of golden retrievers and one beagle and felt welcomed the moment we stepped into the house. There were treats for the dogs, blankets to put on the couch, verrrry comfortable twin-sized memory foam dog beds and endless amounts of toys for our pups to enjoy. There was also a treat station as well as lickit mats and doggie painting to keep these retrievers happy and busy. This house is so dog friendly. It’s a perfect balance of a beautiful home for the humans that is also perfect for the dogs. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen large and well-stocked with necessities, such as paper towels, dish soap, dishes, pots and pans and that stove…. Beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and cozy. If the dogs hadn’t wanted to get up so early, we may have slept part of the day away. Having the availability to do laundry was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

This stay was an absolute gem! The host’s charming old house radiates character and warmth, with every detail carefully curated to make you feel at home. Her hospitality was unmatched—gracious, attentive, and genuine. Clear directions were thoughtfully placed everywhere, making the stay seamless and stress-free.

Waking up at Tyler’s Airbnb every morning is like a dream! With the bedrooms facing the lake, the birds are singing, the lake is glittering with reflections. It is picture perfect and serene. The house is very clean and equipped with amenities that make you a very comfortable stay. Our favorite part of the place was either relaxed with a glass of wine at the sunroom or reading a book at the beautiful nook upstair overlook the lake. What a treat! We will definitely return. Thanks for the host making this place like home. Furnitures are well organized. My partner and I love the sofa in the living room. There is a big sofa and single arm chair sofa. It’s good for staying with partner to kiss cuddle and more. We love the well organized kitchen. Very well-equipped. They even have some stock of food, coffee and tea bags just in case if you are hungry in mid night. We came here for skiing trip. It’s just 15 min to Mt Snow, 1.5h to Okemo. Stratton is also around this area. Great location for mountain staycation.

We traveled up from Florida to visit family in RI & MA for Thanksgiving and stayed in the lake house. After a very long drive, it was so lovely checking in to a bright, clean, peaceful house. Everything is brand new and well appointed. Jolene was so responsive on the week leading up, flexible with our arrival time and had great local recommendations. After we arrived she stopped by with flowers to welcome us. We lived in Rhode Island for 40 years and I had never been to that area of the state before! While it feels like a peaceful retreat, the little village center is about 2 miles away and has grocery, cvs, Dunkins, and a brewery among other things. We also drove a few minutes further to one of the oldest country stores in America. The fire pit was fun for the kids to make s’mores and we enjoyed playing all of the games every night. It was a great Airbnb stay and we will definitely be back again to enjoy it in the warmer weather!

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

My sister and I spent a few relaxing days at Shannon's home. We had a wonderful time! It's in a great location- close enough to town to see the sights and go to restaurants, but also far enough away to be so peaceful and private. We booked it because we love being near water, and the house didn't disappoint. We loved the view. It was a bit windy and cool while we were there, but we were able to sit outside several times by the lake and use the fire pit. We also enjoyed watching and listening to the many birds around the house. The house itself was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were happy to meet Shannon when we checked in. She answered questions we had and made recommendations based on our conversation. Thanks Shannon for having us, and we would love to come back sometime to your lovely home! Highly recommend!!

Great place, great location. Has all the necessary amenities. moover was helpful, and was otherwise close enough for a quick drive to dropoff equipment. the place was quiet and parking was easy, even being so close to the mountain. will definitely consider for future trips.
