Peaceful Getaway

This beautiful, cozy home is in the middle of the historic small town of Philipsburg, Montana. The house feels like a very peaceful getaway, yet it is just a short walk to everything in town. Plus it is close to skiing and other recreation. My carpenter husband and I built the house ourselves over a lot of years, and we are very happy to be able to share it with you. It is light-filled and colorful, with plenty of books and art, and guests tell us they feel really comfortable and at home here.

Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin

If you're looking for an authentic rustic Montana cabin experience with modern amenities, this is your place!! Situated between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, this quaint rustic cabin is located in the small hamlet of southern Hall just off I-90 and 10min from Philipsburg. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and was built by homesteader Carl Cassidy in the early 1980's. His skillful primitive aesthetic and use of recycled materials gives the cabin a feeling it was built in the 1880's.

This cozy guest cottage is located three blocks from downtown. Unit is detached from main house and accessed off the alley adjacent to garage. Cottage has separate parking and beautiful views. This approximately 140 square foot space includes a half bathroom (no shower/tub), microwave, fridge, hot water kettle, desk, and queen bed. Smart tv/wifi and bluetooth speaker. An affordable, comfortable option for solo travelers or couples who just need a good spot to crash. New window AC in 2025.

Located in the heart of a recreational paradise. Skiing, hunting, fishing all out your back door. Thirty minutes to Discovery Ski Area and the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness. Only minutes to Rock Creek and Deer Lodge National Forest. Fifteen minutes from downtown Philipsburg. Comfortable sleeps 6 but there is also a pullout couch in the loft for additional guests. Fish the creek in front of the house but please respect the high water mark law as to not trespass on neighboring properties.

The house is a mere two minute walk down to the main street of Philipsburg.

Braach Cabin Rental sits about 14 miles west of the quaint, historic town of Philipsburg and only .5 miles from the world renowned, blue ribbon gem, Rock Creek River. This new 800 sq ft cabin, built in 2020, offers two bedrooms, a full kitchen, full bathroom and a comfortable loft for lounging and watching movies. Enjoy excellent views of the valley from the loft! Pets are allowed but must be pre-approved before booking.
