Defiantly one of the most unique spots to stay in Placencia

Beautiful spot, clean easy to live in house. Bay is truly shallow (2-2.5ft)- safe for our daughter who doesn’t swim well to be on a floatie. Cool to watch fish, stingrays and birds just from the pier. Deep enough to get a local boat pick up at the end. We definitely needed bug spray for the sandflies, but really just at dawn and dusk. We stayed in the bottom. There was a nice couple on the second story for one night. Help with any small things prompt from Janette and Alex who showed us how to open a green coconut for fresh coconut water.

Pros: Beautiful place. We stayed in the Turtle suite. Place was cleaned. Pool was amazing. The structure is nice. They have Kayaks you can use. Cons: the windows are not sealed tight. Tiny jungle creatures can get inside. You can hear everything downstairs if the group staying there is loud. The Green Parrot waiter stole our credit card information . Make sure no one walks away with your card. We had to cancel two of our cards because two waiters walked away with our card. The next morning we get fraud alert on our phones. Other than that the place is great.

We had a great time in Placencia. The place was perfect for our needs - spacious, comfy, clean linens, and had all the amenities we needed. It was nice to walk to the resort and have access to the pool and restaurant. Vincent was responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed and to make recommendations. The house is a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall a great stay in Belize!

The house was great. We appreciated the laundry access. A neighbor came by to invite us to a potluck, but unfortunately we were leaving the next day!

We loved this place. The view is spectacular. Only small suggestion I would say is to put a little refrigerator in the casita side for cold waters and small items. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Absolutely worth every penny to stay in with full amenities provided and utilised as shown on website. Very helpful host . Highly recommended

Shallow Bay was beautiful, so cute, and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The covered deck is very large and we loved having coffee in the morning and nightcap in evening out there. It is super quiet and peaceful along with well landscaped and maintained lot. Jeannette the local contact person is extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and tours. I would definitely come back and recommend staying here.

The house was very comfortable and views were amazing. We loved having our own oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The location is not near the main village so would recommend having your own transportation. The kitchen had everything you'd need so we didn't have to purchase a bunch of additional items like spices. Bed was comfortable and the overall living space was great.
