We had a great stay at Marci’s house. Everything was as described. The location is great-so close to the lake & a short drive to Truckee, North Star etc. The beds were comfy & all appliances were very new. The big back yard was great & we enjoyed the gas fireplace. The only negative is the hot tub is in the backyard so a bit of a walk through the snow to get to it in the winter. Not a deal breaker but just something to note. Would stay again.

We loved the stay and would love to visit again soon!

Missy and Sonny were great and super acoomadating. They even gifted us some bubbly for our anniversary. 100% would recommend a stay at their wonderful home.

John’s place was definitely as he described. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time here and would stay here again. It was a perfect weekend getaway when you need some much needed time off. John was extremely detailed and responsive and make the check in and out easy.

Such a lovely place, I highly recommend! The space was clean and cozy, and just a short distance to good restaurants and other amenities. The host was also very quick to respond and had great recommendations.

Barney’s home was welcoming and spacious for our family ski trip. The kitchen was great for meal prep, the living room and game room were spacious, and the bedrooms were all in great shape. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is as beautiful as it looks in pictures, with a beautiful view of the lake. It was extremely clean and well stocked with supplies. Linda was a very communicative host and provided clear and detailed instructions for our stay. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying here for our family weekend getaway! Host was timely and consistent in responses with a ready-made guide to local attractions, resources, and clear check-in/check-out instructions - never felt like I was left hanging whenever I had questions. Full view of the lake from the back deck and dining room window which is stunning, made my amateur photographer father very happy! We stayed in February and really appreciated the thoughtful winter-ready amenities like space heaters in the upstairs rooms, extra quilts, and heated mats on the walkway leading up to the front door outside. EV charging a plus as well. Parking a bit tricky with a small driveway (have to park back to front if more than one vehicle) but honestly with all the pluses, this shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. Overall a family-friendly Airbnb for kiddos and older family members alike, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I've stayed at a few dozen Airbnbs in the Tahoe area and this one definitely is one of the best. The house is recently remodeled. The bathrooms are very modern and super clean. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The house is <15min away from Northstar and ~40 from Palisades (assuming there is no crazy traffic). I can highly recommend staying here, we would love to return next year.

We had such a great stay here with family and friends over the weekend! The cabin was beautiful, in a great location, and the host was super friendly and responsive. One thing that really stood out was how well-stocked everything was, which isn’t something we’ve typically seen at other Airbnbs. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pots and pans to coffee machines, spices, and seasonings, which was perfect since we did a lot of cooking. Just a heads-up if you’re a coffee person: they provide the machines but not the coffee, so be sure to bring your own! The place was also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. We loved that there were tons of games, activities, and even outdoor gear to keep everyone entertained. You can tell the host really cares about the guest experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Very spacious house, conveniently located close to Lake Blvd, providing a short drive to Kings Beach, Northstar, Tahoe City, and the Alpine and Palisades resorts. The house is quite spacious, with plenty of sitting space, a good kitchen and dining room space. There is room for 4 cars in the driveway, plus one or two in the garage (depending on your parking skills ;-), which is nice. My friends and I are already thinking of trying to rent this lodge again next year (although this review may make it more difficult...). We had a small issue with the hot tub -- it was perfectly usable (it is really big too), but the jets did not function correctly every time. This has been reported and given Madelyn's responsiveness, I am confident that this will be solved.

Lovely home with everything we needed. Lots of sweet touches - handmade soaps, fabulous blankets for cuddling on the couch, convenient firewood, incredible midcentury modern furniture (the couch!!!!), Great Wall art throughout. This place has personality, and you can tell it’s cherished.

Great location with its own off-street parking. Easy access to Palisades and Palisades Alpine for skiing as well as many good dining options in Tahoe City. We were there for winter sports but the house also has really good access to Lake Tahoe for warmer days. The house is clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to eat at home. Bathrooms were also clean and well stocked. Tom provided good communications and was a pleasure to work with. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb, perfect for our family of three during our ski trip to Northstar. The location was incredibly convenient—just a short drive to the slopes and close to Kings Beach, which made it easy to enjoy both skiing and some time by the lake. The place was comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped, providing a cozy retreat after long days on the mountain. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. Sarah was a very good host! She gave clear instructions on the day when we checked in. The condo complex looks exactly as the photos listed on Airbnb. The best thing is that it has 4 rooms, which can easily fit 10 people. We have 8 people - three couples, two girls, and two pets. It fits nicely. It's 20 minutes away from the Palisades resort. We had a great ski weekend over there!

Great little cabin in a great location, with easy access to all of Northshore. Kerstin and Richard were very responsive and pro-active with communications. the cabin is part of a larger complex with beach access amenities, but I was here to ski and it is a quick drive to Northstar. The bed was comfortable and the gas fireplace controlled by a thermostat kept it warm and comfy. I will look forward to staying here on my next trip.

My friends and I had awesome ski weekend at Northstar. We had two little kids and they LOVED the place with books and games in the two single bed room. Location is awesome, so close to the village. A loft above the kitchen definitely brings out an inner kid of myself. Place was clean, full stock of appliances and dishes. One of the best places I stayed! Willing to stay again.

We have stayed at Carol's at least 3 times, all for ski trips. Cozy, very clean, has everything we need and we love the restaurants and grocery store very close by. Service by the front desk staff across the street has always been great.
