This is our second time staying here, works out perfect for us to stay while visiting family, and its pet friendly so we can bring our dog, its right on the river, great views and we can walk practically everywhere. Has become our go-to when visiting.

What a beautiful town to stay in, and right on the river as well. The Airbnb was super nice and perfect for a weekend getaway! A nice view of the river, and a walkable restaurant right down the street! The apartment was super clean and cozy, and the host was very sweet and responsive. I hope to definitely come back one day!! If you are looking for a cozy getaway on the river, this is definitely a great place to book!

As the person who always beelines for the binder of local information and reads it cover to cover when staying at an Airbnb, this place was a dream! I learned so much about the area from Anita’s historical writing and plethora of brochures. I will definitely be back thanks to Anita’s hospitality and the cozy feel of the place. The perfect location to explore nearby parks with great bluff views and visit all the local small businesses!

I was honestly shocked. This location is an exceptional location to get away and lose yourself or just have a little respite for a few days. Looking forward to it again and maybe bring the boat. Finally, the hospitality was endless. Thank you for operating such a location.

Stayed here with a small group of friends over a three day weekend. Enjoyed the home and the atmosphere; beautiful shoreline and surrounds. Loved the fireplace in the screened porch. Rochelle was welcoming and friendly.

This was my first time visiting Iowa. The visit was on a sad occasion. Jamie's place was so beautiful and peaceful. So much so that my fiancee and are planning a happier occasion trip here solely because of Jamie's place. Great job don't change a thing.

This home was beautiful, clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Host was very responsive.

Highly recommend staying here! The home is absolutely gorgeous & very comfortable. The porch outside is the perfect place to relax & enjoy company! If the weather is bad, the giant windows still offer a wonderful view outside. The host, Larry, is very friendly & easy to communicate with. I would recommend staying at any of his rentals. This is my 2nd time at the Swinging Bridge Cottage & I already can’t wait to visit again!

I can't say enough good thing about our time at the property, and Brett went about and beyond so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Eight adults & one toddler totally enjoyed this AIR BnB. It was scenic, we watched Bald Eagles, fished, hiked & BBQ'd. And we made forever memories. The house is spacious & gorgeous. We were in the upper section & enjoyed our time there. My only concern is there needs to be more lighting, in/outside. I am somewhat visually impaired & found the cooking area & kitchen sink was not enough light for me . The firepit area was not lighted & it was a hazard for me to walk in the immediate area. Lighting is needed in upper shower area, too. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Would probably book again, though. Thank you!

This place was beautiful! We could’ve used a few more things in the kitchen like large bowls for prepping food. We had a great time, it was convenient and fit our family perfectly!

The view was wonderful and right on the lake. We enjoyed the deck and walking out on the dock. Paxton was responsive and the beds were comfortable!

Our stay at the condo was very welcoming and comfortable, a perfect place for my daughter and I to enjoy her48th birthday. Easy access to all that the old market area has to offer and close to the Orpheum theater, we need to come back for some museum time, didn’t have time. Easy communication, beautiful patio and view especially when I had to be around during nap times or early bedtimes - I loved sitting on the patio!
