Ich liebe diese Unterkunft. Sollte ich nochmal in Costa Rica sein, werde ich dort mindestens 2 Wochen wohnen. Für mich ein Stück Paradies mitten in der Natur mit viel Privatsphäre und Möglichkeit runter zu kommen. Jeden Tag hat man andere Tiere gesehen. Mehr Dschungel-feeling kann man nicht haben. Wir hatten insgesamt 8 Unterkünfte während unserer Reise und diese ist mein absoluter Favorit🤩

Andrew, I can’t THANK YOU and your family enough for providing us with such an AMAZING OSA experience….. much of which we enjoyed from the comfort of “our home” at Chosa Manglar!!!!! From the warm welcome, inclusive of fresh bouquets of native flowers, to a well stocked (and GREATLY APPRECIATED!) refrigerator, you gave us wonderful advice, dinner recommendations, suggestions for activities/beaches, etc. and when our Corcovado tour unexpectedly fell through, you picked up your phone, made one call and made the magic happen!!!! We were lucky to see amazing wildlife during our 10 day stay. TO THE ROOF…. We would shout whenever we saw or heard monkeys, macaws or sloths! The wildlife was amazing & when needed for house issues, you & your staff were ALWAYS THERE! Thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! ☺️ PURA VIDA!!! 🤙🐢🐬🦜🦥🦋🐍

Paz is a special place and Roberto is a wonderful host. The floor to ceiling screens in the living room/dining room situate you right in the secondary forest. Heaven for nature loving bird nerds. If you’ve spent time on the Osa before, you know Howler monkeys wake you at 4:30am. We watched howler, spider, and squirrel monkeys from bed. The beach is a minute walk. A covered porch with hammocks and chairs to enjoy the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. And a small pool to cool off in (key) and watch Macaws, capuchin monkeys, hermit crabs & the waves. We bought groceries in Puerto Jimenez and cooked most of meals for the week. Kitchen has big fridge, sharp knives, and worked well for us. Marluna Lodge (5 min drive) for Taco Tuesday. Visited local surf breaks and surfed the right point break out front of Paz. Tide dependent. Roberto can help you figure it out. Roberto was very attentive, warm, and helpful. He’s created a beautiful space in a beautiful part of the world.

My husband and I are so lucky to have found the perfect place in Costa Rica get away from it all and decompress. The home itself is very spacious, private and is set among a beautifully landscaped property. Jacko the caretaker was very accommodating, super friendly and helped us set up a couple of excursions while we were there. It was the perfect little home away from home.

CasaZenn is a gem! We were very glad to be up at CasaZenn rather than right on the beach in Zancudo. It was so peaceful to retreat to the beautiful gardens, pool, and view of the ocean after playing at the beach or exploring the area. Tom and Hollie were super responsive and helpful! We had a few hiccups during our stay, (like an unusually long power outage) and they did everything they could do make sure we had what we needed. They also connected us with horseback riding and snorkeling tours within hours of asking. Both of which were wonderful! We saw dolphins in the bay and rode horses through the forest, hilltops, and beach. The highlight of CasaZenn is the attraction of surrounding nature. The mornings are incredible. Birdsong, howler monkeys, capuchins, and BUTTERFLIES! I have never seen so many butterflies, it feels like you are in a sanctuary. We also saw toucans, green parrots, macaws, and a sloth. The poolside is lovely morning, afternoons, or under the stars. 🦋

This was our family’s 5th trip to Pavones . We like to try different places and locations . Giselle’s home was beautiful , spacious and very comfortable. We had a smaller group and it didn’t feel overwhelming as it’s a big place . Outdoor spaces were amazing , and a quick walk to essentially a private beach . (Only saw 1 person over 8 days ) a short walk to La Pina restaurant for a pizza or dinner and only 3-5 minutes from various spots near Pavones point. I will say this was perhaps the most well equipped kitchen and linens we have experienced yet . Oliver the caretaker was quite helpful and his English is fair . Overall a very positive experience. A casa é mais bonita do que nas fotos, a Internet é rápida os condicionadores de ar são ótimos e necessários, pois o local é abafado, casa muito agradável, no meio da natureza, a poucos passos de um excelente pico de surf. Kei, o colaborador, foi perfeito, muito amável e prestativo, deu excelentes dicas e sempre respondia quando solicitado, rapaz excelente! Infelizmente Pavones não é o paraíso que esperávamos, as praias são maravilhosas, o surf é perfeito, mas já existe um tipo de bandidagem, fomos roubados na praia, levaram nossa mochila com todos os nossos documentos, cartão de crédito e dinheiro, saímos correndo, recuperamos quase tudo com ajuda de locais, pois os bandidos são conhecidos, a polícia só me fez perguntas e disse que seria difícil recuperar algo, embora tenha saído comigo para me levar em casa. Isso é péssimo para o turismo, uma vergonha para o povo local, são jovens, de família, que envergonham esse pequeno paraíso.

At Andy’s place the adventure comes to you. People pay to be taken out into the jungle for tours to see wildlife that showed up in our yard with no effort. The road to matopalo is rough - can’t be passed without 4wd. I wish we’d had higher suspension in ours but we managed. Stop at the bakery and the BM supermarket in PJ for food and stock up. There is no reason to return to PJ during your stay at Andy’s if you have enough food/drinks. Bring coconut oil for your legs to prevent sand fleas (this applies to all Costa Rica) deet also works but natural is better. I would call the experience *top notch glamping* you’re really outdoors and one with nature the whole time. Unbelievable surroundings with a bed and pillows, hot running water and a working range. Perfect for my family who’s used to campervan camping. Backwash bay was perfect for swimming. Andy’s place was perfect for watching surfers, sunrises and sunsets. Keep an eye out for bioluminescence after sunset!! & THE SWING AH!

The words are missing to describe how amazing the experience was! We can’t thank Nannette enough for her hospitality and kindness. She is an incredible host. The house is a piece of paradise, she has looked after all the details perfectly, super well furnished and equipped and services above your expectations. Nannette, Muchissimas gracias para todo!
