Exotic getaway in Sobrante hills

This is Mongolian traditional yurt when we married 40 years ago, our parents built it for us. It is located in our backyard about 90 feet from the street on the deck under pine trees. Path to the yurt has 12 steps and 15 degree up on some part of the deck. We have beautifully decorated, half around, eclectic full bathroom outside the yurt just 2 steps away. Yurt has low front door and low beds and seats. No tv, no wifi. It is out of your comfort zone! No human contact, self check in.

This magical garden retreat is a short hop to San Francisco. Three sun filled rooms in a 19th century train station are set above fruit trees and mini meadows with a Japanese style soaking tub for one or two. Step out to the beach, park, nature preserve, restaurants, shops and coffee houses. All within .02 miles. Take the bus or boat to downtown San Francisco (15-25 minutes) Charming on site hosts. Mill Valley Tree House

This is a lovely home to stay in for those looking to explore the Bay Area. It is a quintessential Mill Valley house near Mt.Tamalpais, Stinson Beach, and San Francisco. It is a short walk to the village where there are shops, restaurants and theaters. Hiking trails are nearby. The house is located on a hillside and there are quite a few stairs . There is a studio apartment downstairs where I sometimes stay there with my poodle, Gigi.
