We had a fantastic time at this apartment, it is as grand as it looks in the photos!! Very comfortable beds, lovely lounge area. Great location to dry out after getting soaked in the rain! Excellent location, two minutes from lots of very good cafes and restaurants and a daily market in the square. Easy walk to the main centre and 5 minutes from the Pitti Palace! Elly communicated throughout and made sure we checked in safely as our flight was delayed. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was very quiet and peaceful. The drive up to the top of the hill was very windy. We took our time and had no issues. The road is totally paved and accessible. It wasn’t really the weather for swimming, but our kids had a quick swim as the pool is not heated. (They still had fun) We would love to be here on a summers day, it would be even more beautiful. Cinzia met us at the petrol station and guided us to the apartment on arrival. She also gave us some local recommendations. Very friendly and helpful. We also met a couple from just outside Ghent in Belgium. They had been coming f to stay here for over 20 years, so you know it’s good if they are wanting to do that. Was a quick drive to Lucca and Pisa. So glad we found this place to stay.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa casa nel periodo della fiera di Lucca. Gli host ci hanno subito accolto calorosamente, assieme alla dolcissima cagnolina Luna, facendoci sentire come fossimo a casa nostra. La casa si trova sopra una collinetta di Balbano, garantendo quindi un ottimo silenzio. Avendo un grande giardino, presenta anche un ampio parcheggio, che non è da sottovalutare. La casa è ancora in fase di ristrutturazione quindi è sì una bella casa, ma con ancora qualche piccolo accorgimento mancante. In generale una bella esperienza.

We have just spent the most fabulous three weeks at “La Limonaia”. Christian is a really fantastic host, very responsive but also discreet and the apartment is easily one of the best equipped Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Really comfortable beds and quality furnishings, the place has been beautifully and very recently renovated. Absolutely nothing was missing and with two young children it was great to have a full kitchen with everything we needed for cooking as well as plenty of towels, bed linen etc - it really felt like home and we were very sad to leave. The location is super, just a short bus/ car ride from Porta Romana and equally convenient for getting out of the city for day trips. The children really loved walking around the garden and made good friends with Christian, they especially enjoyed the homemade lemonade which we made together using fresh lemons from the garden. Highly recommended Airbnb and we hope to visit again soon. Thank You again.

Authentic Italian home situated on a family winery in the stunning Tuscan countryside. Everyone provided us with a welcoming and memorable experience. The wine tasting is a must

We had a very relaxing few days staying with Lucy and her family, and their dog Amber. They were really friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any queries we had. The pool area was lovely, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The village is small with a butchers and bakers, a couple of restaurants and a bar. We did a lovely circular walk from the property through the woods to the nearby hill top village, Castel Vecchio. There’s nothing in the village but it’s very pretty and the views are great. You need a car to get to the supermarket and Lucca is a very easy 20 minute drive away. We had a super time and thank you Lucy for your generous hospitality.

Cristina e la sua famiglia sono degli host estremamente premurosi ed attenti. Abbiamo gradito particolarmente il benvenuto con i loro prodotti: olio, marmellata, miele, uova. Il loro cane Macchia, anche lui con la discrezione che contraddistingue tutta la famiglia, è venuto ogni tanto a farci visita e a fare amicizia con il nostro. L'alloggio rispecchia esattamente la descrizione, anzi è addirittura più bello dal vivo. La casetta è piccola ma ben organizzata e con tutto il necessario, il giardino è splendido e molto rilassante, comunicante con quello dei proprietari, ma che lascia allo stesso tempo agli ospiti la possibilità di godere della propria privacy. La vasca idromassaggio è decisamente la ciliegina sulla torta. Abbiamo passato dei giorni rilassanti in questo paesino fuori dal tempo, dove tutto scorre lentamente e le persone sono gentili e amichevoli. Grazie di tutto!

Merveilleux séjour à la Casa nonna Diana chez Marco ! L’appartement au 1er étage de la maison familiale est parfaitement fonctionnel, calme, aménagé avec soin et qualité disposant de tout le nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez-soi. Espace cuisine au top, super literie, beaucoup de place et rangements. Le patio et le très grand terrain arboré de fruitiers avec vue sur les montagnes est très agréable. Emplacement idéal pour rayonner sur la Valle del Serchio et randonner entre les Apennin tosco-émilien et les Apuanes. Excellente communication avec Marco, nous recommandons chaleureusement !
