This little hamlet was ideal for a group of several families wanting a Tuscan holiday. Christina was a very responsive host, always available for help and suggestions. One down side was the distance from many of the Tuscan attractions such as Florence and Sienna. The hamlet is reasonably remote so is ideal for those who want a secluded holiday rather than those who want to see the sights of Tuscany.

While looking for a place to stay it’s often difficult to choose. If we had known how fabulous this place was it would have been a no brainer! We all agreed that this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in on all of our travels. Massimiliano was a delight and so personable. He made excellent suggestions one being having a cooking lesson. If you have a chance ask for Francesca! The BEST! One last thing…we left with amazing recommendations for the next part of our trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Ci siamo trovati molto bene, la casa era esattamente come descritta nell’annuncio. L’abbiamo trovata in ordine, accogliente e perfetta in ogni dettaglio. Giorgio e Benedetta sono stati molto gentili, ci hanno dato tutte le informazioni che abbiamo chiesto durante il soggiorno ma anche prima di fermare l’appartamento. Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi. La consigliamo a tutti! Se torneremo a Firenze sicuramente ci fermeremo di nuovo qui.

Smartly appointed and expertly renovated, this exquisite example of an ancient farmhouse sits atop a stunning ridge line with vast views and expansive mountain scenery inspiring and enchanting at every turn. Right in the heart of Tuscany, this spectacular piece of the Italian wonderland does not disappoint!

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

I am very glad that we got such a hostess! She is very polite, very responsive! We met for the first time, but it was as if we had known each other for many years. The house is in a very comfortable and beautiful place!! It is very clean and very cozy!! If I come to Tuscany again, then only to Caterina!)

Logement fidèle à la description. Très propre, rangé, bien équipé. Facile d’accès avec un parking quelques mètres plus loin. L’hôte était très réactive et arrangeante ! Nous avions réservé ce séjour dans le cadre du Grand Prix moto du Mugello et le logement est à une distance très correcte du circuit (20aine de minutes). Dans le village, toutes commodites : petite superette, quelques restaurants, café, distributeur de liquide, poste … Le cadre est très joli et calme. En Bref, je recommande fortement ce logement et merci pour cet accueil !

Had the most amazing time in this beautiful place! Stayed for 5 nights, two families with young children, and felt at home once we got there. We were amazed by the design and surroundings. Not enough words to describe!
