Wonderful place! Would stay again if ever in the area!!

Everything was perfect! Our group felt right at home with how comfortable it was . Was definitely the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Very spacious and in a peaceful location. All questions were answered within minutes and even had the heater put on for us before we got there. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a rustic style stay, step back in time and enjoy this cabin. In the days of sleek designs, and everything being ergonomic and clean and smooth, this cabin is the opposite. And it's perfect. Caroline's cabin is built to replicate a late 1800's to 1900's style home and it's done well. The plank floor underfoot makes you think of a similar time. I creaks of the wood, the clanging of the wind mill outside, the tin roofs of nearby buildings clattering in the breeze make this place very special. The pioneer homestead is just that. There are 20+ buildings to explore, numerous old farm equipment and antiques as far as you can see. This isn't a place to stay, it's a destination that's like taking a step back in time. I will be back again with my family and spend more than one night.

My wife and I were blown away at how awesome the cabin was and at all the great antique decorations that made it feel like you went back in time!!! We have already decided to go back again just to see all of the amazing details inside and outside the cabin. We definitely recommend for anyone to stay here!!

The home was perfect for our visit. We enjoyed the lake view and the State park being right there. We will definitely be returning in the future!
