We are repeat renters at this house. We love it. Can walk to the sand in about 5 steps out the back to the Bay or 5 minutes out the front to get to the ocean side. We walked to every meal and went for multiple mile scenic walks each day in all directions. Also, super close to a lot of key destinations. We went to Sea World, Padres, La Jolla, and even Disneyland.

We loved Victoria’s place! The rooftop deck was amazing, the location was great - walkable to the beach, restaurants, and activities, and the house was very comfortable.

Beautiful house in a wonderful neighborhood. The house was clean with great amenities and super comfortable beds. The backyard is amazing, and it’s clear that the host really pays attention to details.

We love this beach cottage! The location was perfect! The bay and the beach are both so close. The bay is great for little kids so they can play in the water without worrying about waves. There’s a small grocery store and some food options very close by. The place was super cute and well stocked. The front patio was so spacious and nice to have dinner on in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

The house was very nice and clean ! Location is great! It’s 2 miles from Seaworld , which was the purpose of our vacation. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the jacuzzi is a nice bonus 😌 I would 💯% come back to this beautiful property.

Perfect location for visiting La Jolla. House has fantastic views from the rooftop and is in a highly regarded neighborhood one house in from the beach. Walking distance to downtown La Jolla and the restaurants and shopping.

Our family of three had a wonderful stay in San Diego at Monroe's home. Its literally steps from the beach and boardwalk, theres a coffee shop, convenience store and plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. I cant stress how awesome of a location the apartment is. Its very clean inside and was very comfortable. The onsite parking is a huge plus! Monroe and team were very responsive to any inquiries we had and we were offered plenty of recommendations for what to do in the area. We loved having our morning coffee while being able to view the ocean right from the apartment window in the kitchen/living room area. If you're planning on staying in the Mission Beach area, you should stay here, you wont regret it!

Tim's place worked out so well for our family of seven (plus a dog). The house is spacious and very well equipped, with a patio that is also spacious and well equipped! The neighborhood is quiet and there is a grocery store and a few restaurants within easy walking distance. Tim was very responsive to our numerous questions and provided some great tips about getting around. Also, if you walk up to the end of the block you can get a nice view of the sunset! A bonus!!

It was wonderful staying at Cheryl’s cottage! The location is great! The beach is a block away, places to eat a few feet away and at the same time once you’re in the cottage you feel you’re in a zen place to just relax. Would definitely rebook!

Karin was a great host! The cottage was as nice as it was described and so close to the beach/restaurants/activities. I highly recommend this one!

We absolutely loved our stay. The onsite amenities were so amazing. We biked everywhere. We even fit in a surfing lesson. At PB surf shop down the boardwalk at Pacific Beach. The fireplace was great because it was a little chilly at night. We even watched the DVD Zorro for family movie night while eating pizza from a pizza place just around the corner. The next night we biked to play volleyball on the bayside after a trip to the San Diego Zoo and got take out from Craft after roller coaster rides at Belmont Park. We highly recommend this place and definitely plan to come back here.

We had an incredible stay at Dawn's home in Mission Beach. She was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had a question or needed help. The location of her home was perfectly situated for our family- closer to the bay side but only a block or so away from the ocean side. The included toys, games, and books were amazing for our seven year old. We all enjoyed a great bike ride around the bay, too! The kitchen had lots of extra small appliances and amenities that made it easy to cook many meals during our stay. The outdoor firepit and patio made for relaxing evenings with a view of the Sea World fireworks. In the listing, Dawn mentions that the garage is a tight fit for larger vehicles. Parking our minivan was very tight so we appreciated Dawn's heads up that we could keep the garage door open so that we didn't need to use street parking.
