Unique Country Cabin Meets Farmhouse Modern!!!

Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. The Cottage at Acorn

We are ready for Christmas! The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.

Less than .25 miles down the road you will find an access point to enjoy the peaceful Ouachita river or drive a short 30 minutes to Wolf Pen Gap to ride ATVs or find Irons Fork Lake 6 miles away to take in nature and fish.

This cabin, built in 2018, sits on the high banks above the Irons Fork Creek, has hiking access to the creek, and is only yards away from the National forest boundary. Private, heavily treed, and peaceful, you will find this cabin to be a great place to get away and enjoy natural beauty in any season. To the town of Mena, AR, it is about a 15 minute drive. Welcome to The School House. This Tiny House is located just blocks from the old Van Cove School. It has one queen bed up stairs and sofa sleeper with a queen bed down stairs. It is equipped with a full kitchen. This tiny house is located on a quiet street. Bring your UTV's - you can ride from the house to several trails within miles of the National Forrest.
