From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Angela, who made us feel right at home. The B&B itself is beautifully decorated, combining cozy charm with modern amenities. The rooms were spotless and inviting, featuring a comfortable beds with electric blankets and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Overall, I highly recommend The Lookout to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. The hospitality, atmosphere, and attention to detail truly set this B&B apart. I can’t wait to return!

Had a lovely stay after we complete the Alexandria trail. Can recommend it! 👌 We also enjoyed a hearty meal at the local restaurant, Roes.

Everything you want in a down to earth family beach house, we felt right at home and will definitely be back. We spent a lot of time in the cosy upstairs space, perfect for reading books, with a stunning view. The back courtyard was great for evening braais & we loved using the private outdoor shower (with hot water). The beach & lagoon are a 2m walk away, and the lagoon was perfectly sheltered on windy days.

beautiful house on the banks of the river. comfortable even for a big family. spacious ,with modern finishes. loved the canoeing kids loved the nearby beach approx 1.2km from the house as well. nearest good shop is in port alfred though we didn't need anything in our 3 days . time went so fast wish we could start it all again lol.

A perfect stay - looking forward to our next visit! The view over the river is exquisite and the house has everything you would need for a relaxing stay. We highly recommended staying at Sandpiper cottage - the hosts are super friendly and most accommodating!

The thing about Airbnb is that you are out of a « tourist bubble «  and get to meet people like Judy and Simon my hosts. The place is consistent with those people; Great, friendly and interesting. I really much enjoyed spending time with them and especially the great breakfast and conversation I had with Simon who is a knowledgeable and interesting man. I really enjoyed my time there and just regret not having spent more time there. Please stop by as the picture and description do not give justice on how wonderful, comfortable and homey this place felt. Thanks a million Judy and Simon.
