We were celebrating a 50th birthday with a spa day nearby. The 4 bedrooms was a dream! The house had all we needed and then some. The host was amazing from beginning to end. Responsive. Proactive. Friendly. We spent 2 stormy nights and we're cozy the whole time. Thanks for the great weekend.

The spot was perfect for us, a great little cottage by the lake. The lake was gorgeous! Chris was very responsive for all of our changes in schedule and questions we had and even left us a little welcome gift of some snacks and drinks. It was incredible and we would stay there again! also it is much closer to Halifax than you think! Turn on tolls when looking because everyone uses the toll bridge and it's just 1.25$ at time of writing and it saves 20 minutes to get into Halifax!

This was a perfect spot for a team retreat! There was great space to relax and work with wonderful amenities. The team loved cooking together and e we started day 2 with a quick drive to the beach for a walk. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Team members travelling in from Ontario and NB and metro found it easy to get to. We will absolutely be back next year!

The house was just what we were looking for, for our family getaway. We appreciated the quick responses to any of our questions. Hope to come again, especially when the gardens are in bloom. Thank you 😊

I can't begin to explain the scerene beauty that this place Tania's place offers. Stunningly beautiful views and a sunrise that leaves you breathless. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and their amazing dogs made the whole place feel like home. We will definitely be back. If I could ever recommend somewhere to be near Halifax but out of this city this hidden gem is an absolute must!!!

Our family had a fantastic Christmas at Deanna’s. It looks exactly as advertised, and is just really comfortable. Deanna was very helpful and timely in responding to questions, prior to, and during our stay. She was very flexible and accommodating to meet our timing needs. Awesome location and view. The accommodation is great, well taken care of and great for a family stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

C'était un vrai havre de paix. Tout est pensée en fonction des besoins des utilisateurs. nous étions un groupe de parents qui c'était rassemblé pour une compétions de cheerleding de nos filles qui avait lieux à Halifax. il n'y avait pas d'enfant avec nous la maison est grande il y a de la place pour tous. La communication était super je recommande cet hôte. Merci Erine nous avons passé un excellent moment

We loved the location central to going to Halifax and Mahone Bay and Lundenburg also for going to our next place. Clean neat and tidy great shower all the amenities you need for a short stay!!

It was a truly wonderful stay! The host was extremely kind and respectful, so helpful and friendly that I felt like I was staying at a five-star hotel. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I highly recommend it... but please don't book all the dates - I might want to come back soon!

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

Lovely area. Quiet and peaceful . Nice country getaway. Rental had everything you could ever need. Even had a bbq. Had a fire pit to sit around in evenings.

We had nothing short of an amazing stay at Tee’s place. We had the easiest check in, everything was so clean and looked exactly like the pictures, we enjoyed the hot tub every chance we got, and we loved that he provided us with a speaker!! Tee was so accommodating and easy to communicate with, which we really appreciated. It was the perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle, and a short 5 minute walk to the bus stop.. This was so convenient for us, since we were able to buy a bus pass and take the bus to the water. It was also a 5 minute walk to a bunch of cute shops, restaurants and cafes which is super helpful if you ever just want to go grab a quick coffee or a pastry, or go for dinner close by. We definitely will be back and would recommend Tee’s place to anyone looking to stay in Halifax. Thanks Tee!

What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

Blue Forest Shores is truly an amazing getaway for us and we would definitely come back when we’re in Nova Scotia again. We stayed at the Boat house which has beautiful view and is very private. Our hosts, Yaro, Savayda, and Wouter are extremely nice and genuine and we actually felt like visiting our family home. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and we will see you again!

Great little cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Quick 10 min drive to downtown for shops, restaurants, and more.

This tiny cabin was the perfect getaway spot for my pup and I. It’s extremely hard to find an AirBnb this cozy that allows dogs. Everything was so well thought through: from fresh coffee cream in the fridge, to doggie bowls and wet wipes. And the BED… omg the bed. The area it’s in is so beautiful and tranquil. Outdoor swing and patio area were a huge plus. Will come back!

We decided after a busy day of viewing homes to treat our self to a little getaway for the night and came across Mike’s spot. Well it did not disappoint! It was even better than the photos! We both walked and said “Wow!”. It was peaceful, private, cozy and welcoming. We had a great night listening to the rain hit the roof and enjoying this great space. It felt just like home. We would highly recommend this spot and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Thanks Mike for being so kind, responsive and a great host!
