Kirkcudbright is a very nice town. Worth a visit: peaceful, green, clean and probably the friendliest people I have come across. The house really is perfect - one of the best we have stayed at. Host is friendly and proactive in communication. Getting there, getting in and getting comfortable is all so easy. I cannot think of anything to find fault with- everything you need is here and how you want it. Lovely welcome pack too. Lots of space in the house and dog friendly (lots of good walking areas behind the house).

The Old School House is stunning Air BnB , super clean, very well appointed and Elizabeth is an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newton Stewart.

Perfect house for our break. Spotless, comfortable, warm, well equipped, all facilities in perfect condition, central and close to all landmarks, easy parking. Highly recommended

We had a great stay at Zagros's place. There was plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and 1 child. The house is situated in a quiet cul de sac and is very well equipped with everything needed. Zagros is a great friendly host and answered any queries quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Zagros's place, and would definitely return!

Great place. Photos make it look like it is secluded but in really there are a number of properties around. The Internet in the property was not the best but good phone signal meant we got by.

We would absolutely stay again! The cottage was in a good location and was very clean. The little walk at the side of the cottage was perfect for our dogs!

Lovely flat in great location.

Stayed in Gillians lovely B&B in the centre of Castle Douglas a lovely little market town with nice surroundings and walks etc, well situated and close to shops, cafes bars and restaurants. En street parking and all that you require for your stay and pet friendly with a secure south facing back garden. We also received a sample of Gillians choclates and coffee which were lovely Gillian was very helpful on our check in and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Super convenient little place in the heart of Gatehouse of Fleet. The property was well presented and absolutely spotless. A parking space conveniently right outside the property. My stay was quite short and I didn't need to cook or use the kitchen, but it was well equipped and clean. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch, even if I didn't manage to drink it! There were no problems at all with check-in and Julie left clear instructions. I will definitely rent again if available when I next stay in Gatehouse!

We spent a fabulous weekend in this lovely apartment. There are spectacular views overlooking the lough which when the tide is in feels almost like you are on a boat. There is a fantastic restaurant & bar just 2 mins away, lovely coastal walks from outside the apartment (about 10 to 15 mins each) and a 5 min dander into the very colourful and charming Killleigh. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

I had a great stay at this countryside apartment . The apartment was cozy, well-decorated, and had beautiful views of the surrounding fields. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bedrooms were comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax after a long day. It was just a 5-minute drive to the town center, making it super convenient. Communication with the host' Jonathan' was smooth, and they he was very helpful via messages. It was a convenient and peaceful place to stay during our trip, and I’d definitely recommend it!

Great place with super view over the Loughshore with no traffic noise. Comfortable and close to a cafe and restaurant. Outstanding for bird watching and wildlife

Dylan was a lovely host and very friendly. He replied very quickly to any messages. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and beautifully decorated and in a great location. The bed was really comfortable and after a good nights sleep we enjoyed a walk on the nearby beach. We would definitely stay there again… a very pleasant experience!

We only stayed one night but it was a great place with everything you need and within easy walking distance of the town. Would recommend.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The house is huge—perfect for a few nights of family time with kids. The rooms were incredibly spacious with insane views and we loved that sofa beds were also in the bedrooms, which made it easy for the kids to sleep close to us. The large bathrooms were a real treat, the utility room was super handy, and the kitchen had every utensil we needed to cook and entertain. The only downside for us was the heating. On the first morning, the house was freezing, especially the attic rooms, and I had to text the owner to ask for the heating to be turned on. While the owner was responsive and never objected, it still felt a bit awkward having to reach out every time. For a property of this size and at a rate of over £1300 for three nights, I would have expected to be able to control the heating ourselves. Despite this we would definitely recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We were blown away with the beauty and character of this gorgeous home!! It’s totally unique and an amazing space to spend time with everyone. The indoor and outdoor space was wonderful, we wished it had been summer weather to enjoy the outside area! Has everything you need and more, a very smooth check-in process and great communication from the hosts. Would recommend to everyone, would love to visit again! Thanks so much.
