What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

We had a great holiday in Alison’s. The house is comfortable. The situation, close to Eilean Donan Castle, is wonderful. It is a great location for hill walking and for exploring the Northwest Highlands and Skye. Alison was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful cottage right on the shore. Everything was comfortable and clean. Perfect location to base ourselves to see Skye and Loch Ness. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was perfect for our stay with a family of seven. The kids loved the spacious lounge and plenty of places including garden to play games. The carved wood features made the house feel homely and comfortable including large table for family dinners. The view was breathtaking every day and it was easy to do walks from the house around the coast or into surrounding hills. Definitely recommended for a fantastic holiday on Skye.

We LOVED our stay here. As others have said, the views are just incredible every direction you look! It was amazing to watch the sunset looking out to the loch. We walked into Dornie a couple of times and drove over to Skye very easily. Amazing location and sooo beautiful, would not hesitate to recommend or come back ourselves

Absolutely delighted with the cottage it was extremely clean. Very cozy and warm. We knew we would arrive in the dark but Mathew had the lights on and it was very welcoming. Views of the harbour and was great watching the smaller fishing boats . Skye was beautiful when we could see it as a wee bit misty The sunset in the street was beautiful. The pups even were catered for as treats left for them which was thoughtful. The driveway to park was narrow but was made when vehicles were not so big , got my VW caddy in but was tight . However I would have been happy leaving my van on the quiet street . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enclosed small garden was handy first thing in the morning and last thing at night Beautiful beeches, end of season but we had a chilled great weekend and no negatives about cottage . Thank you Mathew for allowing dogs and being dog friendly but being immaculate too .

We had a wonderful stay at The Croft. The house and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The house and the kitchen are really well stocked with everything you could possibly wish for if wanting to cook at home. We had an absolutely amazing time and our son and our dog had a wonderful time running wild around the lovely garden.

L’alloggio di Kathryn è molto confortevole ed esattamente come descritto. si trova a 5 minuti di macchina da fort william, la zona è tranquilla e immersa nel verde la vasca idromassaggio è esattamente quello che ci vuole dopo una lunga giornata di esplorazione. ci ha fatto trovare l’essenziale per prepararci una colazione prima di ripartire, abbiamo molto apprezzato!

A top class Airbnb from start to finish. Luxury finishes throughout and spotlessly clean. Andrew is very responsive to requests. Great location and walkable to everything you need during your stay. View from the kitchen and bedroom across the water is breathtaking. Parking is a bonus. We had a magic few days exploring the many river walks and mountains. Catherine was a lovely host, receiving my girlfriend and I with a warm welcome. She was very helpful and responsive to any questions, concerns or requests we would have. Her space was beautifully decorated, and neatly organized, providing us with many amenities to make our trip that much more enjoyable.

Alloggio confortevole e pulitissimo, non manca davvero nulla e ci si sente come a casa. Elizabeth è gentile e disponibile per ogni necessità, check-in e check-out facili e veloci. La posizione è isolata ma tranquilla, con possibilità di varie passeggiate nei dintorni. In auto si raggiungono facilmente Loch Ness e Inverness, anche buona base di partenza per esplorare Skye.

We had a great stay at Mairi’s place. It was perfectly situated for exploring the Isle of Skye. The place itself is very well equipped for a comfortable stay, we appreciated the space and the amenities, especially after being out all day exploring. The beds were comfortable, and it was in a very quiet area with a lovely outlook. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and recommend it to family and friends.

Absolutely stunning views of the water and mountains. Usually the pictures are better than the actual property… this is the opposite. Carol and Martin are the perfect hosts! If you are looking for a true 5 star rental and hosts; this is the place. Carol and Martin thought of everything we could possibly need and went above and beyond expectations.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The space was absolutely spotless - meticulously (and I mean meticulously) clean and beautifully presented in every detail. The accommodation is finished to an incredibly high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. I had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—if not better. We felt welcome and comfortable throughout our time there. One of the highlights for me was getting to spend time with their adorable dogs😍🫠 They were so friendly and sweet—If you’re an animal lover, you might get chance to see them :) that’s just the cherry on top! Mary Floras exceeded our expectations! Country setting yet close to dining and a store if needed. Took a day and drove to Old Man of Storr, Quiraing and more! Her place was very comfortable, well stocked and immaculate!

I don't know where to begin my review. this has by day been the best Airbnb hosts we've had. We were travelling with my 2 year old son, and we loved all the arrangements in the house. The toys basket, the bubble bath toys, the snacks, toiletries and towels, everything was just fabulous. Highly recommend the hosts!

Der Ausblick ist einfach wunderbar und Fort William ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Unternehmungen in der Gegend.
