Great, convenient place to stay for a work trip. Host was wonderful & responded almost immediately to correspondence!

We enjoyed our stay! We were there for our daughter’s wedding , and the house was a perfect spot for what we needed it for. Extremely clean, spacious and very inviting! We will definitely book this house again in the future!

Location was perfect for visiting our children and grandchildren that live in Newburgh. There was a sweet little mama bird in the wreath hanging on the front door and during our stay, the eggs hatched! Luckily the side door was perfect access as we did not want to disturb the baby birds! Thanks for being a great host Brenda!

Beth’s house is truly lovely — one of the well-loved gems consisting of newly renovated older homes in the EVV downtown area. It was clear that the house was loved, carefully decorated (we loved the edgy urban but also traditional chic), and it was fully equipped for our family of four. We loved the proximity to the river, downtown, restaurants. I read in one review that the neighborhood was “still transitioning”, so wanted to briefly address this, as I grew up here and know the neighborhood well: The location on Monroe Ave felt central to downtown, surrounded by a mix of young professionals, families, and “older” folks as neighbors. Never once did we feel threatened or worried for us or our two kids who were frequently out and about. Beth was a very responsive host, promptly returning messages/calls, even for the dumb questions. This is truly the ideal place for anyone passing through who also wants to feel at home and cared for.

We have stayed with Brian several times now when we are in the area. Absolutly love working with him and staying at this house of his. Super friendly, worked with the crew and I, kept line of communication open.

This place was absolutely perfect - the cute Easter decorations were icing on the cake. We were there for three days of fishing in their pond with our son and his wife. He loves to fish - and we had a great time. There was a thermostat for both floors - the kids used the A/C upstairs, and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows opened downstairs. The kitchen was perfect for all our cooking needs and we fixed most of our meals right there. Our last meal was around the fire pit which was such a nice way finish up our weekend there. Mary Jane, one of the owners, stopped to check on us shortly after we arrived. We had a nice chat and this too was such a nice touch. We had tons of room for the four of us and enjoyed games on the little round table next in the living room and had our meals at the long table just off the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return some time again in the near future.

The space was exactly as described. Check in and entry were easy. Nathan communicated well and was helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Overall the place was very comfortable and private and had everything we needed for a five night stay. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The studio was fantastic, especially that chair and light, which made it perfect for reading. Kale was incredibly friendly and provided excellent recommendations for places to explore. The convenience of everything was also a huge plus. If the weather hadn’t been so cold this past weekend, we could have easily walked to all the attractions. I’m already planning to return to enjoy the studio and the surrounding area when the weather improves. The rooftop is so charming and cozy. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Dewey's Boutique Apartments. Yvonne was a great host!! Very friendly!! We were the first ones to stay in this particular unit..everything was so fresh and brand new!! There was still a little bit of construction going on in the building but the people doing the work were very polite and respectful. I've worked in construction on and off for 23 years and I have NEVER heard people be so quiet with power tools!! Overall...amazing people!!

Beautiful historic district & historic home. Host was kind with local recommendations & quick response time. Bed was comfy, very clean space. Felt safe.

We were in town visiting family in Mt Carmel and this was a wonderful space not far from where we needed to be. Comparable in price and much higher in quality than the hotel in the area. Morgan was a wonderful host and also owns the bistro below the bungalow which had great food. Morgan spoke to us after our meal and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our yearly trip to Illinois seems to be becoming a tradition and we will surely stay here again next time.

Great alternative to nearby small hotels with more character and space, walking distance to river walk and to coffee shops, downtown restaurants…this is an older home and the Airbnb is up a flight of stairs (which we preferred, not for everyone).

This was our second time to stay here, it’s comfy and beautifully decorated and super clean!
