The Company House

The Company House was built in 1906 as part of the worker housing for the new Potlatch Forest Industries sawmill, located along the Palouse River in the valley to the west. The company eventually divested of its town houses, and in 2023, Paul and Vivian purchased the house. Their daughter Wendy and son-in-law Preston prepared the place and currently manage the day-to-day operations of the house. We are delighted that you chose to stay with us at The Company House!

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.
