Our stay was outstanding overall….stunning views, quiet/ private, close to walking path, private beach and the space was well- appointed, comfortable and clean. We loved hearing the waves and watching the sun rise AND set each day— so peaceful. There are stairs to access entryway, but it wasn’t a problem at all and parking was always available. There is a pool to use, just steps away ( also quiet) and all within a short drive to amazing restaurants, beautiful beaches, great hikes, farmers’ markets and lovely Hanalei. We would love to return and highly recommend!

We loved staying in Princeville only 10 minutes to Hanalei. The view is outstanding from morning to night. We really enjoyed the lounge at the resort when we didn’t feel like going into town or cooking, there was live music which was nice. We would stay here again no question. Mahalo!

We spent 4 nights at Evans’ place and we had a great time! We could have stayed longer! We though that it js a perfect base to discover the island. The house is beautiful, spacious and clean, we felt right at home. We felt comfortable in the house and we could use the common spaces freely (kitchen, living room, garden). Evans was very helpful and kind. He also offered us great local tips (for beaches, hikes, restaurant), he gave us beach towels, a beach blanket and trekking poles. His flatmate Collin is also very nice and friendly. Princeville where the house is located is a lovely and calm place. In the mornings/evenings we sometimes went for a walk in the neighborhood. At the moment there are albatross babies in the neighborhood which was quite special. We hope to return one day and can highly recommend this accommodation to anyone else!

Wonderful place for a family vacation. Has everything you need for a beach holiday and fully stocked kitchen is a huge plus. Great view!

The condo was perfect and had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Pluses: king size bed, ground floor, keyless entry, next door to the pool (of which we were 2 of 8-10 people using it on a daily basis - no fighting for loungers here!), microwave, coffee maker, two dorm style fridges - honestly the list goes on and on. There weren't any negatives. The location in Kapa'a was also ideal for travel up to the north coast and local adventures which there are many! We enjoyed Napali Brewing for poke bowls and beer, Paradise Bakery for malasadas (filled donuts), and Al Pastor food truck for fish tacos. We spent a day in Poipu, which almost everyone we talked with recommended, but we found it overcrowded, loud, and the crowd kind of aggressive - we saw two people almost come to blows on the beach (not my idea of a peaceful vacation). We much preferred the location of Tom's condo, it's a quieter, more relaxing area. Everyone we encountered was kind/considerate.

Wonderful condo and location for North Shore adventures. Having walkable access to Hideaway Beach is such a huge perk! We visited the beach most days and it was never crowded with great snorkeling. The condo itself is very spacious and clean. Our family felt like we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. We were spoiled with daily whale sightings from the kitchen/dining room windows and beautiful lanai. Really exceeded our expectations, would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this condo. We have stayed at Hanalei Bay Resort in the past and enjoy the natural beauty and location of the complex itself. This lower level unit has amazing views, a great lanai, and is furnished with almost all the things you would hope to have. A boogie board would have been an added bonus. The only thing I think others may want to know before renting this unit is that there is a door that passes through to another unit next door. The door was closed for our stay, but we could hear the neighbors comings and goings and conversations very clearly. Fortunately, during our stay, the neighbors were considerate of this and it wasn't much of an issue. Overall I would highly consider renting this unit again.

Beautiful location and views of the ocean.

Wonderful stay ! We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and several lounging areas. It was very quiet . We saw whales breaching in the distance and albatross flying by. It’s mating season and 4 albatross (and baby) were directly across from the house- they put on quite a show! Very fun to watch. We took many walks and loved the location. We hope to return!

The host and rental were both amazing. The location was stunning. Incredible views and direct access to Hideaways Beach. Tons to do in the Hanalei / Princeville area. Tunnels beach was our favorite, but Hanalei Bay Beach Park was great too. Had some amazing eats across our stay. The rental itself was just like the photos, super clean, convenient, and perfect for my wife and I. Would 100% go back to the rental and the area.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had an amazing time! The place was clean, comfortable, and had amazing views of both the beach and the mountains. It came with all the beach amenities and we loved the pool area. Paul was very helpful, gave lots of recommendations, and always responded quickly. I definitely recommend booking and we would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed 1 week at Tamara's and would return again. The view is exactly as pictured and perfect. It was stocked with all the essentials, plus extras like DVDs, puzzles, games. Each bedroom has a smart TV, plus one in the living room. The unit shows some signs of aging, but it is well-cleaned and feels comfortable like home. The property is quiet, private, well-maintained. The reception desk is friendly. There are 2 water refill stations at the clubhouse. We had a storm and lost power/internet several times. It was not an issue for us, and seemed somewhat common for the island. Also, cell service was very weak here. I had some confusion about the exact layout, but Tamara helped to clarify. Upper level (stairs to the entrance): living/dining/kitchen, 1 shared bath, 1 ensuite master bed. Lower level: master bed, bedroom with 2 twin beds, 1 shared bath, and studio room with a kitchen, pulldown bed, ensuite bath. All bathrooms had showers. Total of 4 lanai’s.

Great views! Unit location is one of the best on the property. Unit is on the end with nothing beside it but beautiful lush landscaping. The view from the front is a spectacular view of the ocean. We saw whales right from the balcony. The unit is extremely private. The pool and resort amenities were good. You have to drive to get to the beach which can be tricky in princeville due to lack of parking. Overall, it is a very peaceful place to stay to enjoy nature. The chickens love it too!

We had a very pleasant stay. The condo is small, but perfectly equipped for 2 adults. This location is a good starting point to get to several beaches and restaurants. We appreciated that there were beach chairs and towels available for our use. The grocery store in Princeville is great and it was nice to be able to cook some meals during our stay. There is a beautiful spot across the road to watch the sunset.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aylana and Michael's home! The residence was very well kept and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had one minor issue at the house and their response was very quick and the problem was resolved without issue. I would absolutely recommend this listing and I hope to stay here again myself. The neighborhood is very walkable and friendly. We really enjoyed our morning walks to Hideaway beach and the view is outstanding from the balcony. Mahalo Aylana and Michael!

It'd be hard to find a better location than this! With so little public parking available in the area, it was worth its weight in gold to be able to have scenic walks from the house to the beautiful beaches and waves at Hanalei Bay and Hideaways. And the house is fantastic: a beautiful view over the gold course to the mountains; so quiet you can hear the birdsong throughout the day; perfect living area above and bedrooms down below - really smart architecture. Loved the location! There is a lot to do at the resort and surrounding areas. Such a fun last minute getaway!

Place was extemely beautiful and peaceful. Its located in HOA area so the no noise restrictions I actually didn’t mind. Besides hearing the roosters, it was completely quiet, you can literally see all the stars at night from this property. It has a beautiful backyard where we enjoyed having meals. The garage has everything we needed for the beach, including toys for my little one. The beds were actually very confortable. The laundry came in handy so we wouldn’t overpack. The hair drier actually didnt work but the host was quick and friendly on providing a new one. A hairdrier for me was a must since going to sleep with wet hair is a big no for me so I was grateful a new one was provided. Wifi worked great. Only downside was probably the ice machine being dirty and there is a camera in the backyard which i understand is for security reasons but sometimes you can feel watched, but the outdoor shower was something we enjoyed alot. I really loved this place and its location.

Jessica’s place was perfect for the family. I loved the the jungle view from the balcony and watching the sunsets from the front porch. Walking distance to our favorite beaches and 15 minute drive to several other great beaches along the north shore.

This was a lovely place! The house is very well equipped and the kids loved all the fabulous books and games. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The house is in a great location. We could walk to the beach with our morning coffees :)

What an amazing place! 10min outside of Hanalei so it is quiet and peaceful. We loved going to bed and waking up to the ocean waves!
