Lorenzo’s beautiful home tucked away in this pretty valley is a little piece of paradise! The property was no problem to find with Lorenzo’s directions and the self check-in was easy. The space was spotless and tastefully decorated — the pictures only tell half the story! It seemed like around every corner around the property, there was another thoughtful, pretty sitting area to enjoy the view, a meal or a quiet moment. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen equipped with everything you need. The location is a bit off the beaten path yet only an hour from the sea or Sienna and an hour and a half from Florence, perfect for exploring the region some days and just enjoying to house and gardens on others. The nearby village has a small but well-stocked grocery store, a nice little bar for aperitivo on the village square and a couple of very good restaurants that cater to the locals — we felt very much at home there immediately! Thank you, Lorenzo, for such a wonderful experience under the Tuscan sun!

We had a great stay with friends; the location is calm, peaceful and in the middle of the nature, the layout of the place is ideal with 5 nice bedrooms and the living area is nice and cosy. The garden is just so beautiful and the patio is perfect for chill and meals even when the weather is not good! I recommend the place.

We LOVED our stay at Bossi di Sopra! Valentina & the team were so helpful and kind to us, helping us book restaurants and even get a spare tyre. The apartment is quiet and cosy and has a lovely garden area to sit by the pool. The whole area is gorgeous and full of flowers and birds. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

This was our first trip to Tuscany and a friend had recommended staying in or new San Gimignano. I found this place and thought it looked like the perfect combination of modern and historic Italy. It was. The place had everything we needed, including a washer AND dryer (perfect for a long trip when we needed to do laundry). The kitchen was well equipped but Americans, please note: There is no American-type coffee maker. No problem if you know how to use a Bialetti (which we do). There's also a local grocery story – the Coop – which had everything we needed, including coffee for the Bialetti. There are also several cafes right in the piazza that have great caffe latte and cappuccino. There are a lot of stairs not really a problem for us; we walk a lot. It added to the charm because it put us up high and the rooftop terrace was wonderful. Amazing views. VERY comfortable beds. Ideal central location for day trips. Go to Bel Soggiorno for dinner at least one night. All in all, terrific.

Siamo stati veramente bene nell'appartamentino di Antonella. Lei e il marito ci hanno accolto con tanta cura e gentilezza che ci siamo sentiti subito benvenuti e a casa! Hanno avuto la gentilezza di tirarci fuori anche un seggiolone e una culla per il nostro piccolo e in generale hanno dimostrato un'attenzione fuori dal comune per la quale mi sento di ringraziare molto sia Antonella che il marito. L'appartamento è piccolino ma ha tutto quello che può servire per un breve soggiorno e probabilmente anche di più, il giardino esterno è molto carino e ben tenuto, con piante di vario genere, noi siamo stati a pasqua e si intravvedeva che in primavera sarebbe esploso con fiori colorati e piante. L'area in cui si trova questa ex abbazia è molto comoda, con l'auto in brevissimo tempo si è a Siena, e le colline sono semplicemente splendide. Col fatto che è un po' fuori e riparato dal traffico, si dorme nel silenzio e c'è una calma atmosfera di relax. Noi lo consigliamo molto caldamente!

Fantastisk sted. Det er som et smukt maleri. God beliggenhed i forhold til udflugter. Super lækker bolig og en meget venlig vært Marco . Man føler sig meget velkommen. Et sted vi gerne kommer igen

I can’t say enough about this special place. If you have a chance to stay here - Do it! You won’t regret it. We arrived to Chiusi by train and rented a car. This is an easy 40 ish minute drive from the train station. We were greeted upon arrival and were shown the way to the villa. The property and grounds are breathtaking. The villa is spacious, well appointed, spotless, and comfortable. The five of us had plenty of space to relax. I love to cook and felt at home in the kitchen. It had what we needed to prepare food. The pool was a refreshing break from the very hot afternoons. Kaci and Antonio (and Marta) are wonderful hosts. They are responsive and eagerly helped us with plans and dinner reservations to include maps! From the Castel it is an easy drive to: Pienza (our favorite), Montepulciano, and Cortona. We even enjoyed some live outdoor music one evening. I could go on… Grazie mille, Antonio & Kaci.

Oh my goodness. We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could’ve stayed more. It’s like something out of a fairytale! It’s an excellent location in Chianti with tons to do. It’s also nice to relax in the front yard under the pines. Bed is comfortable, living room is so cozy and quaint, the house is GORGEOUS. We can’t say enough good things. We look forward to booking again this summer! Thank you for hosting us
