We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Tesoro! As a family of 4, it was the perfect space, we did not use the downstairs at all, so could easily have brought 2 more travelers with us. Everything was as described, the bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked, living room had a great big sectional which is a huge plus for a movie night at home and uncommon in Airbnbs we’ve been in recently. The pool and deck area were great for relaxing after long days at the beach. Grocery literally 2 houses away, main Esperanza boardwalk a 5 minute walk with several good restaurants and the water sports shop. Clay and his house manager, Aurelio, provided excellent recommendations for activities and food. Our first trip to Vieques and we can’t wait to go back and would stay here again!

One of our best airbnb stays so far, the house was fantastic and the hosts were amazing. We spent 8 days here and would spend weeks more if possible. Highly recommend.

Kris and Barbara's place helped make for an unforgettable trip to Vieques - the views are fantastic, the pool with bar/grilling area is a great touch, everything was clean/functional, the location is extremely convenient, and great communication. I recommend renting a car from Kris and Barbara - it makes things super convenient and you don't have to deal with a rental agency. You can tell just by walking around the property that they have put a lot of thought and attention to detail in their rental - from having a bathroom attached to the pool bar/grill, to the old sugar cane farm equipment thoughtfully placed around as decor, to having a separate entrance to the property. The location is in an isolated area, set between Isabel and Esperanza which was ideal in my opinion - you won't be walking to things, but the car drive is very quick and easy! Just a couple minutes away from the gate to the Wildlife Refuge, which is where people tend to go to beach hop. We will be back!

Review 12/10 would recommend! If you are looking for an oasis of relaxation and privacy after a day of exploring Vieques, look no further. We felt at home the moment we arrived. We visited with our 14 and 11 year old boys who loved having a separate suite and the friendly neighborhood dogs. The attention to detail within and around the home is lovely. We particularly loved having French press coffee by the pool in the morning surrounded by sounds of wildlife, the beautiful garden, and a friendly iguana visitor!

David is a wonderful host very helpful lives on site but you wouldn’t he know they were there. Checked in a couple of times to see if we needed anything. Also directed us to his favorite beach . Close to all the good restaurants. Bakery across the street and Nice market around the corner . Perfect place to stay kinda hip outdoor living space with pool in your area. And AC in bedroom bath area

Our stay at Hillside had us seriously considering selling everything we own to move to Culebra full time and just live the island life forever. The apartment had everything we needed and was exactly as described. Access to the swimming pool was the icing on top of a seriously delicious cake each day. This will be the only place we stay when we visit Culebra from this point forward. The rental units stay pretty occupied from what we saw during our week long stay so do not hesitate on booking here. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy and relax while visiting and exploring the island.

The location was amazing; walking distance to the heart of Esperanza but far enough removed to feel peaceful. We felt very safe in the house and neighborhood and walked everywhere. The primary need for the gate around the house is to keep the wild horses out! :) The beautiful pool and outdoor shower were key! We swam every morning and afternoon, such welcome relief from the heat. Lori was a super sweet host as well. Would defintiely recommend this place if you plan on visiting Vieques.
