Last May, we stayed at the Wyndham just to the left of this Airbnb. This May, we decided to try something new, ecstatic we discovered Casa de la Perla! Absolutely spectacular! Views were breathtaking; watch the sunset from the infinity pool, one of the few Airbnbs in the area with this feature, or from one of the many balconies connected to the home’s four spacious, modern bedrooms. When in pool, look down to left and see spider monkeys playing in the trees! Concierge service, phenomenal-truly next level. A 4-seater golf cart was provided at house upon arrival. They arranged a private boat outing thru Ocean Life Costa Rica for snorkeling, fishing, cocktails and lunch w Captain Byron, his amazing crew, Josh and David-gluten-free accommodations included! It was an unforgettable day on the water. Our dolphin encounter videos even got a like from National Geographic! Another evening a private chef made authentic CR food! We had a SUV and golf cart. Careful on the road, hill IS steep!!!!

Staying at Oscar's house was a perfect experience from start to finish! He was at the house upon our arrival and walked us through showing us how things worked, etc... He and his mom stayed next door the whole time and were helpful but not at all intrusive. They even shared some of the fresh fish that his mom caught with us which we cooked for one of our dinners at home one night! He also let us use his beach chairs and umbrellas, which was very helpful. The house was exactly as described and well stocked. I am VERY picky in terms of cleanliness, and it was very clean! Having two showers, toilet stalls, and bathroom sinks was very helpful for our family of 6. We also appreciated the outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. Town and several great restaurants were an easy 10 minute walk down the beach. We felt very safe in Samara, but we did bring in everything off the porch at night like Oscar recommended. I would absolutely rent this house again in a heart beat. We loved it here!!!

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

Our stay at Lapa Villas was amazing! We were 18 people and it fit us perfectly. Carli was SO helpful, communicative, and recommended so many local attractions. She also helped us booked a Chef (who we loved) and a boat tour, and got us a bit of a deal for our large group size. She even baked us brownies 🥹 It’s an incredible pair of villas and we loved the covered outdoor kitchen right by the pool, we hung out there constantly. The hike down to the private beach is great for viewing wildlife right at the house. The hot tub and pool were amazing, especially with our visit being during the rainy season! We were a bit disappointed by the sauna as it didn’t work at all during our stay, but hopefully it will be up and running soon. And Carli and Yader were both super responsive and helpful with trying to get it going which we greatly appreciated. All in all this was a great place to stay! 5/5 stars

This was a very unique experience for our large family group. Having a beautiful beach within just a very short walk was the best part. Some amenities within the subdivision but easy to take water taxi over to Tamarindo during the day. Our host was very hospitable and responsive to anything we needed. We were all very happy with our stay.

Casa Oceanside is a special place on the Osa. Michelle and Eddy have captured a small slice of paradise near the incredible Corcovado National Park. Our stay exceeded expectations, the property has everything you need to disconnect and take in the beauty of the region. It’s rustic in the best way, drawing you closer to nature and wildlife. We encountered howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, coatis, scarlet macaws, and many beautiful birds. If you love surfing, the ocean is a dream: wild, warm waters, endless dark-sand beaches lined with coconut palms and beach almond trees frequented by scarlet macaws. Walking along the beach during low tide is a must. Michelle and Eddy were wonderful hosts, always attentive and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and left with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty of the Osa Peninsula.

We had a fantastic couple of weeks at The Seacret Spot. Brais, G and the children were a delight. Very friendly, hospitable and generous. The house is gorgeous, even better than the photos, and the acrobatic stuff and pool in the beautiful garden was a wonderful addition for our daughter. We really loved Pilon. It was just a short walk down to the beach, a lovely one at that with the animals and smell of jasmine. And wow what a stunning beach with great swimming aswell as surfing. Superb for kids at low tide. Some mornings we didn’t see a soul. Pilon has some lovely walks, the best restaurant in the area and great yoga near by too. We were very happy at The Seacret Spot thanks or our wonderful hosts and stunning Pilon 😊

At Andy’s place the adventure comes to you. People pay to be taken out into the jungle for tours to see wildlife that showed up in our yard with no effort. The road to matopalo is rough - can’t be passed without 4wd. I wish we’d had higher suspension in ours but we managed. Stop at the bakery and the BM supermarket in PJ for food and stock up. There is no reason to return to PJ during your stay at Andy’s if you have enough food/drinks. Bring coconut oil for your legs to prevent sand fleas (this applies to all Costa Rica) deet also works but natural is better. I would call the experience *top notch glamping* you’re really outdoors and one with nature the whole time. Unbelievable surroundings with a bed and pillows, hot running water and a working range. Perfect for my family who’s used to campervan camping. Backwash bay was perfect for swimming. Andy’s place was perfect for watching surfers, sunrises and sunsets. Keep an eye out for bioluminescence after sunset!! & THE SWING AH!

Quedé encantado con el lugar muy hermoso la vista el clima sin duda no me sentía en Guácimo 😁, muchas cosas por hacer y todo cerca es un lugar para ir a disfrutar no una parada solamente para dormir, definitivamente volveré apenas pueda 👍🏻

We had an excellent stay. The beds were very comfortable which has been not super common for us in CR. The wifi was great as my husband and I were both working. The host was very kind and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised the bugs were minimal for being so open air. The birds were amazing. The lookout point is beautiful. They were kind and flexible about late checkout for us. The host even took time to take us to the waterfall and natural jacuzzi on the property. He taught us about all the different kinds of trees. Mary was great as well. We hope to make it back to stay here again!

Un lugar increíble, muy bonito, súper limpio, rodeado de mucha vegetación, la vista muy linda, la alberca siempre limpia y las atenciones de Flor fueron de lo mejor, nos sentimos en familia, me llevó una experiencia muy bonita del lugar

Muy recomendada. La cabaña es igual a las fotos, ordenada, aseada, la ubicación es buena, céntrica en un pueblo. Cerca de varias playas.

La estadía fue la muy agradable, el lugar es bello y se encuentra en una excelente ubicación, hay muchas playas cerca, puedes tomar un bote a Golfito por un bajo precio y ver delfines, la cabaña es perfecta para una familia, la atención del anfitrión John es la mejor, es muy amable y servicial, te atiende con detalles que te hace sentir mejor que en casa! Si vienes a Puerto Jiménez esta es la mejor opción!! John es un super anfitrión!!!
