We had a wonderful Easter weekend in Salisbury! The home was cozy, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short drive to town centre in salisbury to the cathedral and lovely local spots. Perfect for those who want a country lane and country trail walk to stonehenge! Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure we felt right at home. We’d happily come back again—highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We had a lovely stay at Mike’s cottage in Corfe Castle - the location is charming and the cottage itself is delightful, clean and cosy. It is well equipped, in spite of the compact size, and Mike was a helpful and responsive host with our queries. A tip for anyone also interested in the shepherd’s hut - maybe check first with the host if it is available, as in practice this would need a separate booking.

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hut. Fiona was a really great host who came out to us even though it was late and raining! The hut was super warm on arrival and it has an internal heater and towel rail which is nice. It was also nice to be welcomed with some baked goods which we enjoyed the next morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. The hot tub was nice to relax in… you get all the stuff provided for it which is good and on previous experiences this isn’t always the case. We used the Fire pit and you get some cushions to use which are under the bed and extra blankets which again is really nice. It’s exceptionally well thought out and the lord of added extras make it really nice. Would deffo return

We had a wonderful family stay at Paul's AirBnB. The home is perfect for a family or friends trip. Great rooms, huge open plan kitchen/ living area and a larder for storage with washing machine/ dish washer. We honestly would give more than 5 stars if we could. If you're looking for a beautiful home, amazing views and great walks (or short drives) to local landmarks (or pubs!) then look no further. Our toddler (20 months) had a great time in the gated garden or using the New Forest as his play area, and was beside himself when the horses would walk right past the house. Paul was on hand to answer any questions we had, an excellent host! We'd absolutely stay again!

We adored our stay at Amanda's Shepherds hut. Our son made best friends with Henry the dog and Monty the donkey joined us for a BBQ. Amanda is super friendly and her breakfasts are our of this world!

Amazing Air Bnb, Tracey was a fantastic host welcoming even before we arrived. Perfect for feeling out in nature but also being able to enjoy a bit of luxury. Our son loved the goats, ducks, fire pit and the hot tub as did we. He especially loved meeting Roly the Dog! Really unique and relaxing experience in a great location for various different activities. Tracey has the balance just right of ensuring you have lots of privacy but also feel really at home and welcome to chat and ask questions. The actual hut has everything you need inside and an amazing view of the sunset and then the stars on a clear night. Thankyou Tracey :)

Amazing place to stay for a spontaneous getaway. Very peaceful within the woodland and the hosts were lovely! Wood fired hot tub is the perfect treat at the end of the day. Looking forward to staying again.

Collie shepherds hut was just perfect! The hut was clean and well equipped, with some beautiful extra touches like crumpets and milk being provided. It had everything we needed for our weekend break. All bedding and towels were provided and there were things like a hairdryer for after the tub, blankets for a chilly evening and sticks to toast marshmallows on! The hot tub and fire pit were superb, and well used by us! It got soooo hot we were able to stay in for hours! The view was to die for- with rolling fields in front of us, with grazing horses, many different birds and the sound of cows and wildlife all around. It was in a very rural location which meant it was peaceful and tranquil. Lots of towns and cities near enough to get out exploring each day! The host was great at communicating and gave us a very friendly welcome. We would absolutely come back ❤️

We made a very last-minute decision to book this Airbnb, and we’re so glad we did. Dan and Katherine were incredibly accommodating, getting everything ready for our arrival within just a few hours. They were also quick to respond to any questions we had. The Airbnb is located in a beautiful part of Dorset. It’s peaceful and quiet, and the hot tub overlooking the orchard was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. The sunsets are stunning, and thanks to the location, it stays light quite late into the evening. At night, the orchard becomes a fantastic spot for stargazing due to the lack of light pollution. The hut has everything you need for a short stay, including a cosy log burner. The BBQ outside is also a great feature which we really enjoyed. We’d love to stay again in future ✨

We had a lovely short stay at Kevin’s where we were looked after well and always felt very welcome and comfortable, the little oak lined beach is a real treat for some peaceful time if you go exploring. The farm itself has interesting buildings and nooks and crannies, with nature and pets never far away. We were greeted each day with a peacock call and a freshly cooked breakfast with fresh coffee-bliss! Thank you Kevin and team, see you again. Ian and Jo

Had a great night away in the Blue Hut. Such a lovely place with great views. The hot tub was really nice with the outside fire pit. Inside the shepherd’s hut it had everything you need and was really modern. Plus, that was a nice touch of a bottle of Prosecco with marshmallows for the fire pit. Would highly recommend staying there.

Lovely place to stay, the cabin was clean and tidy for our arrival and the extras that were provided (eggs, marshmallows and milk) were delicious. We will definitely be back, I would highly recommend.

We stayed here on our visit to Lulworth cove for a trail race on the weekend. The shepherd's hut had underfloor heating which was great. Convenient parking right outside the hut too. Close by to good local pubs as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely stay in the Flosssy hut in the peaceful Dorset countryside. It’s not big but the hut has everything we needed and more. The decor and furnishings have been really well thought through and we were very comfortable with two of us and two dogs. We used it as a base to explore the area and would say a car is a must if you want to see local towns and sites.

We had the most wonderful time at Danette’s shepherds hut. The views, wildlife and peace were incredible and the location was great for trips out with the dogs. We loved the attention to details in the hut, it made the experience very homely. Danette’s communication with us was great, she kept us up to date from start to finish. I am already looking forward to returning on our next trip!

Me and my son had a fantastic few days staying at Quackers. Many thanks to Jo who was so welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home instantly. Quackers had everything we needed and more. It’s cosy, peaceful and we loved seeing the chickens, ducks and horses. Amazing views of the surrounding fields and hills, and star gazing whilst toasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The pool was fabulous and my son couldn’t wait to use it. Jo was so generous with her time and allowed my son to help feed the chickens and collect the eggs. He also has a new best friend in Jo’s dog. Quackers is a great location to explore the area and beaches. We can’t wait to go back.

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

A really lovely stay! Shirley was a wonderful host who meets you at the door and explains everything to you before leaving you to your own, peaceful space. The hut was kitted out with everything you could possibly need… cutlery, crockery, towels, heater and a fan etc. The location of the Shepherds Hut is great.. tucked away and private but also only a 5/10 minute drive from the beach and/or shops & restaurants etc. The only downfall was that there was no phone signal and no wifi as stated in the post - not anything to ‘mark down’ for but definitely something to be aware of when booking. A massive thank you to Shirley for a wonderful stay!
