Beautiful place - calm, idyllic space in such gorgeous surroundings. The road down to the air bnb is quite uneven and a mixed terrain but just take it slowly! The space is so homely - we loved the fire. We absolutely adored our time here. Ingrid even brought us some salt when we said we were low. I would just say make sure to pack shower gel and toothpaste - perhaps our fault for not bringing! Would definitely stay again 😊❤️

Hannah and George were super helpful, the house was characterful and has all that you need. It was lovely as a family reunion as there was plenty of space, and access to a garden and the toys was so appreciated.

Ginny is a very welcoming person and her home is absolutely stunning! The area is extremly private and we slept like babies! If we're ever in the area again, we will for sure book this place - amazing!

I cannot recommend this accommodation more highly. The self contained apartment was of a very high standard, set in beautiful grounds that the owners have clearly put a lot of hard work into, to create and maintain. The hosts are very friendly. The area is beautiful with great countryside walks on the doorstep along with the incredible River Test. Local high quality pub within walking distance an added bonus. Wouldn't hesitate to return

Very peaceful quiet location, lovely private garden. Fab kitchen Great location for nearby popular towns stunning beaches and lots to do. Beautiful village of Portesham. Kelly’s place immaculate/clean very user friendly , high spec bathroom with bath and shower, very comfortable bed , beautiful decor/furniture. Lots of light in every room. Lovely private garden stocked with interesting greenery , clematis, silver birch, grass mowed everything tidy. We were visiting mid April when the lilac and wisteria were showing off their blooms which reach the bedroom windowsill. Beautiful views from all the windows. Helpful and prompt responses from Kelly. Eg we needed new batteries in the TV remote and Kelly came straight away after I messaged her.

Have stayed here a couple of times now due to work. It’s very comfortable and I personally consider it home from home . It’s spacious..private..quiet and pretty much central for visitors to Wiltshire. I will be spending as much time as I can here up until August if available. The host Natalie is very pro active and very responsive. And will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable and pleasant as she can. I really can’t praise this stay enough.

What a fantastic visit! Rachael and Ian couldn't have made us more welcome and their were so many lovely touches, from the continental breakfast, to the beautiful flowers in the room, and comfy bed. Loved our Easter eggs on Easter Sunday too! An outstanding stay. thank you!

Very likely to book again.

This was our third stay at the Cow Shed and hopefully not the last. We love the rural location and spending a lazy morning looking out on the levels from the bedroom. Everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Highly recommend Cardomom Indian restaurant in Langport who cater really well for dietary requirements including vegans.

Coral and John were really lovely hosts. The accommodation and parking was as described and very private, safe and secure. We really enjoyed our very relaxed mini break and would not hesitate to return. A gem of a find. Hopefully, we will be back soon! Thank you again Coral and John xx

Lovely little place and was perfect for my use. Only gripe was no working kitchen but an air fryer, kettle and toaster was available. Paul was very friendly and kindly advised a few beautiful places to visit. Would definitely stay again if the kitchen was functional.

This is, I think, the fourth time I have stayed here, which indicates a strong recommendation! The accommodation is very well planned and comfortable, and makes the absolute most of the available space. It is close to a fairly busy road so, if you are a light sleeper, I suggest earplugs which work very well for me!

I have to say I was apprehensive staying in air B&B for the first time, but I needn't be, Vinny's place was homely and I enjoyed the whole stay, would definitely stay again.

This was our second visit, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We were warmly greeted, the annex was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a relaxed, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Jo and Andrew ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect offering easy access to Branksome Woods to walk our dog and leads to the beach in 10 mins. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable Airbnb experience.

Beautiful space outside to sit , very clean , comfortable , spacious and decorated to a high standard inside . Quiet location but near to restaurants and shops. Kitchen stocked well for drinks and breakfasts. A very enjoyable stay

Beautiful place! So homly, comfortable and clean. My daughter and I were staying - such a spacious place. Accomodation is well equiped too - kitchen and bathroom. The washing machine with a 6 year old was a bonus and plenty of storage. Location wise - prime spot if your driving to surrounding areas, i cant comment for walking. Although we did venture 15 minutes down the road and you end up in a harbour with shipwrecks (fp12) so that was cool. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location for exploring Charmouth, Lyme Regis and surrounding areas. we went fossil hunting at low tide and found plenty. the information books were great and my daughter enjoyed reading them. The accomodation had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable and considering we were joined onto Angela's property it was very quiet and peaceful. Angela was very helpful when I couldn't get the WiFi to connect and very friendly when we met in person. It was warm and cosy and perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Great place on a private lane! It was perfect for the two of us as a country side retreat.

Nous avons adoré notre court séjour d’une nuitée. Tout était impeccablement parfait! Nous sommes allés prendre une marche en ville (tout à 10-15 minutes de marche) après avoir fait une petite lessive. Shaftesbury est une petite ville magnifique. Nous sommes revenus nous faire à souper, tout le nécessaire pour la cuisson et la confection y était. La nuit a été très paisible et le lit très confortable. Merci Christine et Rob!

Susan and Roger were fabulous. They greeted us on arrival and helped us depart. Their accommodation was pristine and decorated to a very high standard with high end interior. Great location and stunning views of the river Avon.

My wife and I stayed here with our dog Blu for a couple of nights, Was easy to find with Google maps and with Louise's instructions. The Studio is a lovely little gem next to the main Bungalow. It was Clean, welcoming and nice and bright on arrival. The other property that is on the land which is tucked away above is a beautiful little cottage hidden above the Bungalow and Studio, the gardens are a bestful outside space and are on different tiers and not in enclosed If I had known about the cottage I would have booked in a heartbeat! Highly recommend Host, one to keep in mind in the future! Mike, Becky and Blu
