This was a gem of a find!! We wanted a peaceful, get back to nature family weekend, and that is exactly what we got! Micah was extremely personable and accommodating. The place had all the amenities promised. We could have spent a week there! Micah even set up a bonfire for our family and joined us singing and playing guitar around the fire pit. A family compound worth every penny!

Third time there and already have our fourth visit booked!

We had a family reunion on one day of our week long stay and this place was PERFECT for that!! Everyone in our family was comfortable, had plenty of space to move around plus plenty of seating for 20 people... they didnt all stay there, but the day was filled with fun, family and a great place to spend it in....We really enjoyed the dock and close proximity to renting pontoon boats to go out on the lake or river for fishing.... We hope to enjoy this property again in the future for some relaxing family time... Thanks Megan for everything!!

Beautiful little Bungalow. Sandra has this place decorated beautifully and she really goes above and beyond stocking the place with so many perks. We would highly recommend this place and will stay here again.

Cathleen’s place was wonderful! Such a quaint and peaceful getaway suitable for all ages. House was actually bigger than we were expecting with a giant back yard/lake beachfront for activities. We can’t wait to go back

Whitney is an excellent host! Every taste and need was taken into consideration. The home has a ton of room while still feeling cozy, the home manual was informative and thoughtful, communicating was effortless. My sister and I stayed at the cabin for a reunion with our third sister living in Keystone. We especially appreciated the beautiful lake views from the porch, the quiet setting, the several conversation spaces inside and out. Everything we could possibly need was provided including a Keurig coffee maker and a welcome gift basket. I personally loved kayaking with life jacket provided and the outdoor shower with its instant hot water! Thank you for all the thoughtful and decorative touches that made us feel so at home together again.

Karan and Courtney are two of the kindest people on this planet! They hit all the standard marks with responding in a timely manner and providing insight on the local area. I had a two week gap between my stays. Karan helped coordinate another location that was super close by. They are amazing hosts who will help you any way they can! Now let’s talk location. If you’re looking for a private spot with lots of birds and animals, this is your place. I’ve never seen so many blue jays, cardinals, or woodpeckers in one place! Oh and there’s deer too! The home has beautiful mature trees surrounding it! If you want to recharge your battery in a quiet, tranquil location, then this is it! The stars fill up the night sky, which you can enjoy, while sitting on the patio. The other benefit is you’re just a short drive from restaurants, biking trails, and plenty of other activities. It’s also perfect for remote work with strong Wi-Fi! Plenty of spots to work from, while enjoying the view!

Our family absolutely loved Sam & Mike's place! The house was so clean and very comfortable! We loved sitting on the patio for meals and hanging out by the firepit at night! The kids had a blast swimming, kayaking & fishing! Excellent communication from Sam & Mike was the cherry on top! We will be back to Lake Pegram!

I can't say enough positive things about this gorgeous place on Star Lake. It was exactly as described. There were clear directions before and during our stay. The host was very responsive. It is well-supplied and very comfortable. The furniture is gorgeous. We felt right at home. Hearing the sounds of birds and listening to the windchimes out on the screened in area on the dock was so relaxing. We really enjoyed being on this beautiful, quiet lake away from the hustle and bustle of our life. The colors at sunrise and sunset were magical. Despite being in such a serene location, it is only 30 min to Gainesville's restaurants and shopping and it is 30-60 min to many nature destinations. There is a very helpful notebook with the host's suggestions provided. My husband and I recommend this property without hesitation.

We stayed at Missy's for a week while home visiting family. As someone who grew up in Florida 20 years ago, Missy's place reminds me of why I love Florida so much. The bungalow had a lot of charm and character, and was simple in the best possible way. An ode to old Florida (the real Florida), it felt a million miles away from all of the concrete overdevelopment. Our mornings were peaceful, spent out on the private dock and our evenings were quiet, spent cozied up on the comfortable couches. During the day we worked in the Florida Room while listening to records. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we loved having access to a BBQ as well. We slept in the blue room, and the bed was like a cloud! My sister visited with her two kids and dog and they loved swimming at the lake beach across the street. The yard is huge, completely fenced in and perfect for dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the noise and enjoy some down time in a serene setting.

We live in an RV fulltime and my husband had knee replacement surgery and needed a more accommodating place to recover for a couple of weeks that was located in close proximity of our residence in order for us to check up on our other pets and maintain our garden while we were away. This was perfect! The Klare Kottage was private, peaceful,clean and locatex in a nice neighborhood. It had a beautiful view of the lake that my husband could see right out the front windows while he recovered and provided fishing,kayaking or sunset/sunrise views for me to enjoy and keep entertained while he rested. Having a place to stay that our dog was able to be with us and was more safely accessible than our current residence was a HUGE relief and made an already stressful event more bearable and accelerated his post operative recovery progress exponentially. We will definately return if temporary accommodations are needed in the future while we are at base camp versus seasonal traveling. Many thanks!

Loves David and Liz's place. It was easy to access the kayak and paddleboards to enjoy right off our private dock. Appreciated the fishing poles that were left ready to go for us to use. The guesthouse had everything we needed, towels, plenty of blankets and a well stocked coffee and tea bar. Really enjoyed our time!

We had an amazing time at Lisa's place! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had many thoughtful touches. We had a great time canoeing and using the campfire/grill. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking; we stayed for two days but could've easily done longer. Thank you :)

We enjoyed our stay, very peaceful. We brought our dog and it was a great setting for him. We highly recommend this cabin by the pond.

Large cabin on a dirt road on a very private muddy lake. We left the windows cracked and slept to the sounds of birds all night and morning. Space was large and vhs selection was on point. We were able to cook all of our meals and brought our own bottled water. Had an amazing 3 nights stay and just relaxed lazily the entire time. The doc is nice too and sat around on there a lot too.

Rare Florida cabin on a lake. Enjoyed jet skiing and watching the seaplanes take off. Had a nice family Thanksgiving week at the cabin. St Augustine and Ocala are about an hour away.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend in this cabin. The game room was a hit! We would love to come back when weather is cooler. If you come during summer make sure to make reservations ahead at the springs. You will enjoy a peaceful place with nature around… kids were able to see deers and heron birds… simply lovely.

Our host was wonderful, we had some last-minute changes, and she was able to fortunately accommodate us graciously. Thankfully so, as the rustic cabin was a hidden treasure, with such peaceful surroundings, which was exactly what we were looking for. It felt like a writer's haven, a place where time stands still. The view of the lake from the back porch, and morning fog followed by the sunrise there, and Spanish moss-covered trees, all added to the aviance of the cabin. Our departure was noted by six deer in the clearing on the way out, definitely a hidden treasure, which we will visit again.
