My family and I really enjoyed Elizabeth property very comfortable and quiet, we definitely thinking about coming back soon.

My family and I enjoyed three wonderful days in Cold Spring. First, compliments to the hosts for their attention to detail and responsiveness. We found the house spacious and well supplied to easily accommodate seven adults and one child, who seemed to enjoy the space as much as her elders. There are great spaces outside as well including ample room for parking. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking materials as well as a wide variety of spices and, thankfully, coffee. We enjoyed some of the interesting design touches inside, such as the Lego Titanic and the map of New Amsterdam. Our group especially enjoyed the Ms. Pac-Man video game. In Cold Spring we visited the shops on Main St., the park by the river, and Magazzino, the relatively new Italian museum just three miles away. All in all a wonderful stay.

The stone cottage was the perfect getaway for our New Years trip! The space is cozy and well appointed, and the host was thoughtful and accommodating when we ended up arriving in town earlier than anticipated. We would love to come back and stay in the summer to sit by the pool in such private and peaceful surroundings.

This was a lovely home. Very easy getting inside. Everything was exactly as listed, pictured and described. We felt so cozy and welcomed by Susan. The house had everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and convenient and was very clean. I had a few questions during our visit and Susan was extremely responsive and so kind. I highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were very nice and had great water pressure and nice hot water. We truly felt at home and we're beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this home for anyone need of an Airbnb in the area. Lovely home and property.

We loved our stay in Calum's Airbnb! It is a short commute from NYC and conveniently located between two main areas with plenty of grocery store and restaurant options. The home itself is well equipped with an amazing kitchen and many board games - so we were always entertained.

Beautiful, comfortable, well built house with great views of woods and stream, well equipped kitchen. My husband, son and I really enjoyed staying there, while visiting family, even during some of the coldest days of the winter. We would love to come back at a time when we can take advantage of the deck and pool!

My sisters and I booked a weekend getaway at Leta's house and it was fabulous! The house is an easy walk to Main Street but situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. The house itself was one of the best stocked Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we could have needed and the coffee/tea options were amazing! The home was warm and cozy, beds were comfortable, and we felt very safe. We'd love to stay here again!

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The house was cute, clean, and comfortable - exactly what we needed during such a busy and exciting time. We especially appreciated how close it was to everything; it made it so easy for us to get around without stress. Eva was wonderfully responsive and kind, answering any questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful to have had such a great place to stay during such a special moment in our lives!

Ellen’s place was beautiful and cozy. The kitchen worked perfectly and even though it was April it was still a bit chilly so the wood stove was a welcome amenity. The shower was great and there was a soaking tub. It was quiet and beautiful. We like all the art and it was very homey.

What a charming home and location! We loved our stay here. There was plenty of space for our family, both inside and out. Our children loved exploring the woods and creek and also benefited from the flat, grassy area where they threw the frisbee and kicked the soccer ball. The inside of the home is tastefully decorated, and we were grateful that the kitchen is so well stocked! It was convenient for our needs and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

We had a great stay! Most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time. Cybele’s place was very clean. It was raining during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake but the view was beautiful.

This beautiful and unique home is surrounded by natural beauty and equipped with everything you need to relax and unwind. The house feels lived-in and is thoughtfully furnished. Especially unusual, the cedar soaking tub is the most natural feeling hot soak outside of a natural hot springs. The kitchen is a true dream for a cook practically begging you to pick up farmer’s makers ingredients in nearby Cold Springs or Beacon and whip up something delicious. The two bathrooms are luxuriously designed with top shelf shower and tub and are spotless. The bedrooms are spacious and light-filled, especially the master with incredible forest views of the backyard. We would happily return or recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Cozy beautiful home, perfectly what we were looking for! We were looking for a chill new year’s celebration and this place was perfect for us. It took us only about 1.5 hours to get there from the city. It was close to the cute little town of Beacon and it was close to several hiking trails with various difficulty levels. It has a cabin, tree house vibe with all the amenities and comfort of a full house. It was also clean and had everything that we needed in the kitchen. We were lucky to had a clear night sky and were able to stargaze in the backyard. There was soo little light pollution, and we saw a shooting star! Overall a very pleasant stay.

great spot on a hill in a neat town. there are a few great restaurants within walking distance. view of Mahopac lake which gets busy at times quiet at others. downside very small access point for kayak only. there is a boat rental place right there if you wanted to rent a party boat. we visited NYC by car without issue about 1hr drive in. I found an amazing bike path "rail trail " passes right through the little center also. overallgreat place. very comfortable house. record player and views set the mood for a special stay!

I stayed with 5 friends at Dan's place. - There was plenty of space for us. - Cozy to hang out in the living room, it was fun to play foosball and pingpong in the playroom. - There's an amazing view of the river and the bridge. - The beds were actually super comfortable. - Even though it's an old house, it doesn't feel gross, like some old houses can. - Nice big property but doesn't feel isolated from the rest of the world. - It was easy to reach by Metronorth, then foot. - Dan was kind enough to let us check out late, and was communicative about expectations regarding that. - Also I felt that the checkout procedures were reasonable -- NOT one of those listings where they make you do 1000 chores before you check out lol. Overall I would recommend this listing to someone else!

Beacon is very nice and this is a good location if you want to explore Beacon. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Quiet area as stated in listing.

The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable and Rosemary was a friendly and welcoming host. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Edie's place was great. It was a great set up for two pairs of adults and a toddler. I was especially appreciative of the ease of bringing a toddler - there was a crib, a high chair, a baby bath, toys, and a huge yard. Edie's spot is very close to Cold Spring (about a 10 min drive to the coffee shop), but we also loved being so close to Beacon (about 15min drive) for more options for restaurants and stuff. It was overall lovely, Edie was super responsive to any questions we had, and the light in the house made everything bright and homey.
