Arbutus Cove Retreat offers sweeping ocean views and a restorative coastal escape. Featuring four fully contained, private suites, Hemlock, Cedar, Sitka & Heron, it's perfectly located between Powell River & Lund. Explore kayaking, mountain biking & climbing, fishing, hiking, or wander beaches, visit breweries & browse artisan markets. Then return to wellness and calm: soak in the hot tub, book the sauna (extra), or gather at the beach fire pit. A tranquil retreat to recharge and reconnect.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

This snug, hand-built cottage features large windows and a deck looking toward Hague Lake and the rocky scapes of Turtle Island. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

Moonhill Guesthouse

Moonhill Guesthouse is the perfect starting point to explore Cortes Island. Centrally located on the south end close to Manson’s Lagoon, Smelt Bay and Hollyhock, Moonhill offers spacious and peaceful accommodation for Cortes Island visitors. At both forest and village edge, Moonhill is walking distance to many island amenities and popular swimming beaches. The house is best as getaway for 2 with occasional guests in separate bedrooms. all amenities plus a fireplace, heated stone floors and outside bathtub. Watch the storms or the full moon from the bedroom.

This 2-BR unit is one of 3 in a quiet building. The walk-on beach is lovely, the view is breathtaking, from summer heat to winter storms, it is peaceful, serene and some days the sound of the surf, eagles and herons are all you hear. There are many excursions close by including mountain biking, skiing, fishing, boating and hiking. The Valley is nature personified and Kye Bay is a jewel - the breath of sea air in the morning is worth the visit for sure!
