Stayed for on site wedding. Room was nice and clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

five stars for uniqueness and charm. We have friends in the area and have had a hard time finding pet friendly accommodations. I was a little hesitant because I didn't know the area and it seemed like a small older place. It is both. after reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a try and I'm really glad we did It was very clean. very well thought out charming and the best part was the kitchen and restaurant and bar. A small local place with fantastic entertainment. We didn't have to leave the property. just an easy walk downstairs to really unique, delicious food and wonderful entertainment. The girls that work there, Tam and Carly really know what they're doing. they are hard-working and professional and they make a great hot toddy. We will stay there again the next time we visit our friends. It was just very easy and comfortable.

Amazing stay, this hotel is great! The pool was like a bathtub and the owners kept it open late so I could swim after 8PM! Will be coming back again and again.

Perfect spot for 4 friends on a weekend trip to NYC

Amazing amazing amazing! I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were big, spacious, clean, comfortable, the balcony was a plus and the restaurant near the main lobby had a great bartender; that made our drinks extra good! Also, parking was fairly easy to find and the hotel location was perfectly located close to Manhattan! I would recommend just double checking and confirming the room type you are booking, since there are many different options and room styles! I would stay here over & over again 🌸!

The room was giant, the bed was comfy and everyone was very helpful!

I almost wish i hadn't seen the photos - the Flophouse is unique, quirky and beautiful. René was very thorough and responsive and his friend who looked after the place in his absence was lovely. The place is in a quiet neighborhood and close to the river, we always returned around midnight and felt calm walking back. The rooms are clean and just like the photos. The metro station is a 10-minute walk away. A new jacket we had bought disappeared and no one took responsibility. If there is an event or party in the hotel, a lot of noise can be heard in the rooms. In general, it was a good place to stay and we had a window with an incredible view of the city.

I really enjoyed my stay here and I will definitely be coming back to this location.

Arlo is most definitely one of my top 5 favorite hotels! I really love the rustic look the hotel has and the scent all around the location! this is definitely a great place to stay not far from anything you need to reach. It's not my first time staying at this location nor will it be the last time.

This was not our first stay with Michael...and we'll make it a regular thing as we visit family in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place — it had everything we needed, and it was easy enough to get to other areas of Brooklyn, by train or citibike. She was very responsive and we appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out due to our travel schedule. The bedroom faces the street so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper, but we were fine for the most part. And, of course, Sana the cat was so friendly and certainly added to the stay!

We stayed as a family of 4. It was easy to get in and out of Manhattan on the subway and easy to find good places to eat nearby. Would stay again!
