We had a great 5 night stay and would love to return. The kitchen was well equipped to cook anything you want and the bed in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable. We loved sitting outside and watching the waves in the morning with a coffee or a beer in the afternoon. Everything was so quiet and peaceful. Our dog loved it too!

We celebrated a 50th birthday at Jeremy’s place and had a wonderful time! The house was spacious and accommodated our group comfortably. The amenities were incredible with the arcade, canoes, mini put etc. There was so much to do and Jeremy was a great host! We look forward to staying again.

Had an amazing stay with the family. We had lots to do from hikes to bon fires. Everything you need from grocery, gas, food and lcbo is less than a 5 min drive from the place. Over all would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Greg’s place is incredible, we would all go back in a heartbeat! Greg is a great host, always responsive and he made sure we had great stay. The place itself is beautiful, has a lot amenities and it’s super cozy. Beds are very comfortable and every space clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.

Great cozy place. Beautiful view of the lake from the main living room. Place is clean and has everything you need. Hot tub was super clean and easy to use. Beautiful property and lots of room to explore. The only downside is the highway noise, but you can’t hear anything inside the cottage. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a cozy nesting cottage with a view, this is your place.

absolutely picture perfect cottage right on the lake. lots of bedrooms and living room space. couldn't ask for a better view from the hot tub. Heather was provided all the details to ensure check-in was smooth. Everything was organized and labeled so we didn't feel intimidated by the size of the place and was able to feel at home from the 1st day. we didn't bring our kids this time but would love to come back with little ones as there are gates to the deck/hot tub area + everything kids would need already in the house.

This place is such a gem. Attention to detail and comfort was incredible. Our girls’ weekend was perfection. The sauna is a must, the view from the hot tub is gorgeous (even in an icestorm), the pottery for coffee was stunning, the beds were soooo comfortable, loads of towels for all of our spa activities, heated floors and a stellar Woodstove. The only problem is that with all of these amenities, you don’t want to leave to explore the area… that’s why next time we will book a longer stay! Thank you Ken and Rachel for this little slice of heaven.

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

We had a lovely stay at the Willow cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is gorgeous! Jeff brought us whatever we needed. Would highly recommend this cottage. The space is great for 2 families to share, kitchen is fully equipped, unlike other Airbnbs we have rented. Thank you for hosting us and our USA friends.

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. We had a perfect winter getaway and would be back anytime. The description and pictures shown are accurate, it’s actually more beautiful in person. Loved how well-equipped the place is. From everything you might need in the kitchen&bathroom to the beautiful and thoughtful touches like the inside swing and the coffee table books, games, movies, an array of pillows and blankets to choose from and comfy beds. This place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and feels private even with the neighbouring houses. The sauna is breathtaking and a luxurious addition. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Caroline was so kind and responsive and graciously extended help during a bad ice storm that happened during our stay. We would come back, 10/10. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Such a wonderful spot to escape to in South Frontenac!! The location right on the water was peaceful, and the amenities made it great for spending quality time together. We loved having access to the kayaks and a great selection of board games. The house came fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen – there were lots of extra supplies that were easy to find. The fire pit was also the perfect spot to make s’mores in the evenings. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our booking and stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

Our stay was perfect, chalet had everything you could ask for and more! We stayed for work so we didn’t get a chance to go to the beach, or play any of the ample board games, but the kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the shower had great water pressure! Could not have asked for a better stay!

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

It's a very cute and peaceful place to stay. It's surrounded by lots of foliage to ensure privacy, and I love all the small touches around the place. I would definitely love to come back in the summertime to experience all the trails and conservation areas.

Once again we had a great stay! This was our second year staying at Kunals' place and it was just as we expected. Kunal went above and beyond to accomodate us. Unfortunately a wk. before, due to a bad storm, the liner of the pool was damaged so the pool was inoperable. This is one of the main highlights of Kunals' place for us so it was a little disheartening because we were there for 8 days...HOWEVER, once again Kunal came through!! He purchased an 18ft back up pool and had it assembled and ready to go for our arrival so that we could still enjoy a pool!! My sister and I had a great time, enjoyed the peace and quiet and would stay at Kunals place over an all inclusive Carribbean trip anyday! House was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Kunal gave us late checkout which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be doing an extended stay next summer and are so looking forward to it! Thanks Kunal, you are a great host and we thank you for being so accomodating!!

Mihaela's cottage was a lovely little place surrounded by trees. Despite its location deep down the cottage roads, it took less than 15 minutes to drive wherever we needed to go (Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, Kawartha Highlands Signature Park). The cottage itself was comfortable and clean, but we especially enjoyed the lovely firepit and jacuzzi 😄 Mihaela was also a responsive and understanding host, leaving plenty of clear instructions and responding to questions in record time. Overall we had a great stay and I would happily recommend this cottage to others!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.
